# Astake Introduction - Secure and reliable Liquid Staking on Astar and Soneium

wstASTR - the yield-bearing, non-rebasing liquid staking token, is the sole asset of the Astake protocol. We do not plan to integrate any other assets.

We are actively working on a [proposal to list Astake on Astar dApp Staking](https://forum.astar.network/t/astake-dapp-staking-proposal/8057). Once listed, we will stake ASTR on Astake protocol and allocate a portion of the rewards to our protocol as incentives to further enhance APR. The exact proportion remains TBD, and we remain open to suggestions.

Our focus will remain on Astar and Soneium, as Astake is built on Astar dApp Staking and Soneium presents significant opportunities for ASTR. These ecosystems will be our primary areas of development.

In addition to providing a competitive APR for all Astake users, which itself ensures extra yield, we are also in discussions with DeFi partners within the Soneium ecosystem. These collaborations may unlock additional earning opportunities in the future including more points/more emissions. Please stay tuned.
