Greetings, Astar fam! I am AstarHood, an anonymous advocate within our ecosystem, dedicated to promoting fairness, transparency, and value creation in the Astar Network. Inspired by the legendary Robin Hood, my mission is to ensure that our dApp Staking system remains a powerful tool for innovation and growth, reserved for projects that bring genuine value to the ASTR token and our broader community. **Timezone** : I cover mostly US & EU timezones * * * * * * ## **Vision and Commitment:** - **Enhancing dApp Staking:** By initiating community-driven proposals to delist underperforming or inactive dApps, we can showcase the true potential of dApp Staking, attracting high-value projects that align with the long-term interests of ASTR token holders. - **Community Empowerment:** I believe that transformation must be organic and community-driven, reflecting the collective will of all stakeholders in our ecosystem. - **Transparency and Fairness:** I am committed to initiating discussions, presenting data-driven proposals, and advocating for fair evaluations of all dApps to build a stronger, more resilient network. I’m also committed to support the Community Council on the topic listed in the overview thread that were not in my first scope: 1. Community Treasury Management 2. Even though you’re pretty new to Astar Governance, you’ve already stepped up by starting discussions and taking action using the governance tools. Your proposals, especially about delisting projects from dApp Staking, are always well-thought-out and backed with solid information. It’s a great example for others on how to turn ideas and expectations into real, on-chain actions. Having you on the Community Council would be a huge plus to help make sure it gets off to a strong and solid start. ---

Best of luck with the council’s efforts! I’ve been supporting you since your initial push to streamline ASTR. I’ve been anticipating someone in a position of power to allow ASTR have the time to evaluate the impact of the current DApps listings—whether they are beneficial or simply creating selling pressure. As for my input, I believe it would be more advantageous to utilize our Astargov platform instead of Subsquare. Astargov is specifically designed for ASTR and represents a significant investment, given that i know a bit of background about its development. 😄 ---
