# dApps Staking v3 - proposal

Small update about the oracle solution & more dynamic tier config recalculation:

- Previous reference [link](https://forum.astar.network/t/dapps-staking-v3-proposal/4206/56)
- Solution has been implemented & tested few weeks ago, and now it will be integrated into Shibuya, Shiden & Astar
- In short, this means tier config will be updated before each new era starts
- The price base will be moving average price within 7-day window
  - when initial solution was deployed, `ASTR` price was around 0.18$, now it’s more around 0.10$ so expect to see increase of rewards per tier
  - Since reward pool is limited, if `ASTR` rewards go up, tier capacities go down, while tier entry thresholds go up (this is described in the [docs](https://docs.astar.network/docs/learn/dapp-staking/dapp-staking-protocol#tier-system))

Solution should be live on Astar by the end of month.
