# Swapify: Cross-Chain Token Swapping dApp on Astar Network - dApp Staking Proposal

Hey Tomasz, I’m happy to see you back in the ecosystem. You’re one of Astar’s OGs and were one of the first technical ambassadors.

Thank you for sharing the detailed proposal for Swapify. It’s clear that you have a strong vision for advancing cross-chain swapping on Astar, which aligns well with the ecosystem’s goals. Before we proceed with dapp staking approval, the council would appreciate further clarification on several important aspects to better understand the project’s feasibility and potential impact:

1. **User Demand & Market Validation**  
Could you share any existing data or research that validates user demand for Swapify? For example, pre-registrations, surveys, or competitor analysis that demonstrate the unique value Swapify will bring to Astar’s community.
2. **Technical Readiness**  
Do you have a public GitHub repository with an MVP or proof of concept deployed? We’d also like to understand the status of smart contract development and integration with cross-chain bridges.
3. **Key Metrics & KPIs**  
Please provide target metrics such as expected TVL, daily swap volume, number of active users, and anticipated ASTR token utility over the first 3–6 months.
4. **Community Engagement Plan**  
How do you plan to keep the Astar community involved? Could you outline your schedule for AMAs, dev updates, educational content, and bug bounty programs?
5. **Project Team & Capacity**  
Given your past experience and the unfortunate accident you mentioned, can you confirm your current availability and team capacity to deliver on the roadmap?
6. **Economic Sustainability**  
What is your revenue model, projected monthly costs, and timeline for becoming financially sustainable without continuous reliance on dApp staking incentives?
7. **Roadmap & Milestones**  
Could you provide a more granular roadmap with clear deliverables and milestones linked to funding release schedules?
8. **Marketing Strategy**  
Please share details on your marketing plan, partnerships, and expected budget for community growth and user acquisition.
9. **Governance & Token Utility**  
How will governance participation be structured for ASTR stakers? What mechanisms ensure transparency and user control over fees and liquidity?

I recommend that you submit your proposal to the UCG program before applying for dApp Staking, as the product is not yet developed and you may need initial funding to build the MVP. I believe the ideal path would be:

**UCG → dApp Staking**

This approach can help secure the necessary early resources and demonstrate progress before scaling up.
