Relevant experience
Background

I am a DeFi enthusiast who has been actively involved in the crypto ecosystem since 2019. For the past 23 months, I have served as an Astar Ambassador and contributed to community growth, education, governance, and ecosystem awareness.

In addition to Astar, I have worked as a researcher and content creator on major projects such as Mina Protocol, Starknet, and Polygon. These roles have allowed me to directly interact with complex ecosystems and hands-on test a wide variety of DeFi protocols.

I have actively participated in governance processes and on-chain voting in ecosystems such as Astar, Starknet, Cosmos and Jupiter (a leading DEX on Solana), which gave me in-depth insight into decentralised decision-making structures. I also served as a transaction lead at a local DAO and made early investments in various Layer-2, DeFi and AI-focused projects.

My extensive experience across different infrastructure layers, combined with my active presence as a content creator and DeFi user, has given me a strong foundation to capitalise on opportunities early and contribute strategically - skills I aim to bring to AFC.

History of contributions to Astar

For 23 months I have been the official Astar Network Turkey Ambassador. I have contributed hundreds of content, event organisation, community and governance contributions.

(First 18 Months) For my contributions to Astar between 23 July 2023 -19 December 2024, please see the “Tracking records in Astar” section of this file;

(Last 5 Months) You can review this file for my contributions to Astar between 19 December 2024 - 1 April 2025:

Motivation and goals for joining the AFC

My primary motivation for joining AFC is to help Astar build sustainable revenue streams and increase its financial flexibility in both traditional and emerging Web3 ecosystems.

I believe that AFC should explore advanced DeFi strategies such as concentrated liquidity market making (CLMM), LST-native yield farming, and staking yield tokenization to maximise Astar’s on-chain capital efficiency. These strategies can be executed through decentralised, composable protocols that align with Astar’s values.

I envision Astar evolving into a collective-driven entity with diversified treasury holdings, multiple revenue streams, and increased visibility across ecosystems - especially beyond Soneium, including the broader Superchain and alternative DeFi networks.

As an active DeFi user with a Degen/Researcher spirit, I have continuously explored and interacted with early-stage protocols, building relationships and gaining hands-on experience. I am deeply familiar with basic and advanced DeFi concepts such as IL, Yield Aggregators, CLMMs, LRTs, AMMs, Real Yield and more.

My goal is to actively contribute at the forefront of the AFC by researching, testing and delivering well-structured DeFi opportunities for $ASTR and non-local assets to support the long-term economic stability of Astar.

Weekly availability (minimum 5 - 8 hours per week)

No problem. I can spare 10 hours.
I have flexible working hours.

Verified on-chain identity

Disclosure of project links or potential conflicts

There is no conflict of interest. The projects I mentioned above are not affiliated with Astar.

Commitment to participate in live meetings and operate transparently

No problem at all.
I actively participate in meetings.

Although English is not my first language, I have a good command of all basic Web3 and DeFi terminology. I actively contribute to international governance discussions and forums and I believe that language is not a barrier to my performance. I believe that I can deal with all issues in writing if necessary. I am always ready to communicate via message outside of meetings (I can work around working hours).

If I am not elected as a full member, I would still be honoured to contribute as an observer. This will allow me to gain deeper operational insights and remain actively engaged in Astar’s financial future while supporting the committee.

MAGA

hi!

Thank you.
It’s good to hear that there is more than one good candidate, so there are many people who want the best for Astar :slightly_smiling_face:

You are a bad agent since you were one of the foremost neurolanche shillers and used your polkadot and ambassador connections to promote it further and provide credit to it.

Greetings, I do not have any Polkadot connections. My network strength is definitely the weakest in Polkadot. I’ve only posted very briefly on WagMedia, only Astar-focused content. I have strong connections to Ethereum and L2 ecosystems. So this part of your comment is unfounded.

As for ‘neurolanche’, the project was a project that did good things in the ecosystem with the highest stake rate for a long time and was supported by the ecosystem. Since I’m a Turk and the founders were Turkish ambassadors, they asked me to help the community in Turkey and I took on the role of ambassador for a short time (I always put Astar first and separated the project and Astar in the local Turkey group). Still, there is no problem with me helping. Because many ambassadors (even team members) have a history in local projects. Also, I understand that his work has not been going well in the last months, but as I said, it’s none of my business. It is not my responsibility if the project went bad afterwards. For 1 year they have not been in my follow-up.

The ‘you are a bad ambassador’ part is also hurtful and a very flat comment. I have been involved in Astar for 2 years, following all the rules that ambassadors should follow.

I also invite you to the Astar Turkey community. People in the community will say that my ambassadorship is not bad, that I always find solutions to their problems and quickly convey all the developments about Astar and Soneium

You knew since day one what kind of project that was and you chose to support and promote it.

No one can know 100% what a project will do in the future. Like every member of the community, I couldn’t have known that, because none of us are clairvoyant. At the time he was getting support from the ecosystem and a lot of people hoped he would do well. If you look at the number of unique stakers he used to have, you can see that many people believed in him.

Also, till date many bad projects were selected for dApp Staking but were later Delisted due to their bad work. Can we blame the team, agents, the stakers and the community for selecting these poorly performing projects? No. With dApp Staking, projects were given an opportunity and a source of income, but they abused it many times (that’s why we have constantly improving dApp Staking versions.) There is no distinction. No matter which project, if it doesn’t keep its promises, it should be Delisted. You can see how serious I am about this from my participation in previous Delist votes.

Because many idiots that fell for his scam exist that somehow justifies your support?

You present yourself as versed in tech and web3, if you are and you seem like you are then its certain that you could and did know what leo said was unfeasible and ridiculous and acted as a trap for idiots yet you chose to support him and lend credit to him.

If you didnt then you are not as versed in web3 as you claim to be and if you cant recognize a simple scam why apply for this position?

So which is it?

Did you see whats going on but supported him because he was your national and you stood to benefit or you are so inexperienced that a clear scam like neurolanche went unnoticed by you?

In both cases you shouldn’t be near any place of power.

Please be careful with the words you choose for your statements. Your statement ‘a trap for fools’ is very wrong. You are the one who said that.

Most of the projects participate in dApp staking by introducing themselves to the agents, team and community with their ‘promises’ and getting voted. Anyone can start a project on Astar Network, but to participate in dApp Staking and generate revenue, they must first introduce themselves and then request to be listed on dApp Staking. The situation was no different for this project, it received support from the vast majority of the ecosystem during the listing process and gained a place with a high number of stakers. I was not the one who made this project recognisable in the ecosystem (it was founded even before I became an agent). I was never the one who presented the ‘promises’ of this project. I tried to help community members with problems in my native language. I also always put Astar Network first, as you can see from the following conversation on our local channel;

X (community member): ‘’'Well, I’m officially offended by astara. I staked for nerox for months. We missed the process to be done. We couldn’t get an answer by saying we would fix it. etc etc…‘’

My response: ‘’’ Greetings, Nerox has no direct connection with the Astar project. Neurolanche project is one of the hundreds of listed projects on Astar. If you have a problem with Nerox, Neurolanche should provide the solution support, not Astar Network. It makes no sense to be angry with Astar in this situation. If you need any support with the Astar, we are here to help you‘’

X: ‘’I have never had any problems with your interest, thank you‘’

Me: ‘’ I thank you too. Until today, I have never said ‘they give me a headache’ about our community:blush::blush:‘’

You are directing your energies in the wrong direction. After all, I am a representative of Astar Network and I am here to help you if you have a problem or a problem. However, with your writing style, there is an attitude that blames me first and then the Astar Network ecosystem from your point of view because the project is not predicted in the future (the whole ecosystem could not predict this ~ no one can see it~). Not every dApp Staking applicant and listed project had good intentions. Even today, many projects still do not fulfil their promises (regular report sharing etc.). To date, we have started voting to delist many projects that have not kept their ‘promises’ and promises. If a project is in bad faith, you can check my old comments to see that I was one of the most in favour of ‘delisting’ it.

Also, this applies to any project; you can create a thread for any malicious project with your ‘arguments-evidence’. If your explanations are convincing enough, I will gladly support the ‘delisting’ of any bad project.
