@Gaius_sama
I’ve updated my previous post to 17M $ASTR, but I’m unable to edit the original one.
Looking forward to the next step.
NEET Team has already delivered several applications on Astar and according to their proposal, they want to continue developing on Astar and Soneium.
I think they deserve to be part of the UCG program. I support their proposal.
I acknowledge that NEET is active, but I think we should clear up the VLS issue.
Thanks for bringing this Maarten.
I don’t feel comfortable with the connection to VLS (incident of the project’s abandonment by the founder), and the benefits for ASTR from the roadmaps that include Soneium are unclear…
Thank you for your input, @pitcoin777 and @you425. However, it’s important to clarify that this proposal is focused entirely on the NEET ecosystem and its roadmap, which is independent of any past issues related to VLS. The NEET project has been transparent about its integration with Astar zkEVM, EVM and soon Soneium, and we have demonstrated our proof of work by delivering dApps that provide tangible value to the ecosystem.
If there are concerns specifically about VLS, this is not the appropriate forum for that discussion. I encourage you to address those in the relevant channels or with the parties directly involved. Let’s keep this conversation focused and constructive. Thank you for your understanding!
@pitcoin777, failing to recognize the tangible contributions NEET has made reflects a misunderstanding of the value we bring to both the Astar and Astar zkEVM ecosystems. Despite limited backing, we have successfully delivered critical tools such as the Raffles dApp, the Token Bulk Sender, and are soon launching a DEX. Additionally, we have more dApps in development, including innovative solutions on Soneium, further showcasing our commitment to decentralization and ecosystem growth.
Your vote against us contradicts the shared goals of advancing the ecosystem and fails to acknowledge NEET as one of the most active contributors. This dismissal undermines not just our work but the collaborative spirit necessary for the ecosystem’s success. I urge you to reconsider the reasoning behind your vote, as it does not align with the interests of the community or the progress we’ve made.
Thank you for taking the time to reevaluate.
There seems to be a slight misunderstanding.
My concern was that since I am not sure how I would interact with VLS as a NEET, I needed to clear that up first.
If NEET and VLS work as completely separate things, then I don’t have a problem with that. And if it is a merger of sorts, then of course that needs to be taken into account (not that I have a negative view of VLS).
However, since you commented on the VLS Forum that you will not be taking over, if that is the case, that is what I understood.
Let’s kindly keep the discussion focused and avoid linking NEET with VLS, as the matter has already been clarified. I trust the moderators will ensure the thread stays on-topic moving forward.
Hi @Pat,
Now that the vote has passed, could you kindly share what the next steps in the process are? I would appreciate any guidance on what actions we should take from here.
Hi @Satoshi congrats on passing the proposal!
We have already staked 17M ASTR to NEET. Please check and confirm.
Looking forward to NEET’s progress!
Hi @Pat,
Thank you for the update! I’ve checked, and everything looks good.
