Hi, I’m Emanuele Scarinci, an active member of the Astar community and subscribed to the cometa program. I’ve been exploring SoneFi’s Meme Launch and love the potential this platform offers. I would like to propose the integration of the Astar token as a payment method alongside ETH, with targeted incentives to promote its use.
I would propose adding ASTR as a payment option for commissions in Meme Launch, alongside ETH as an available payment method. To encourage adoption of ASTR, you could offer a discount on fees for users who choose to pay with ASTR. This approach promotes the use of ASTR without limiting payment options, allowing users to benefit from extra benefits while maintaining ETH as an alternative.
SoneFi would benefit from Astar’s community attraction, broadening the platform’s user base.

they would be the increase in the real use of the token in an innovative dApp that could be trendy.
This proposal comes from my admiration for the potential of SoneFi, a platform that I consider promising especially with the Meme Launch move. I wanted to write this initiative to explore new opportunities together, strengthening the mutual value of the communities involved.

Meme coins have been very strong lately, and I think SoneFi’s Meme Launch is a product that fits the bill. I would be very happy if ASTR would be used there.
However, I think this is not a decision for the Astar community to make, but for SoneFi to decide. Perhaps it would be better to post it on SoneFi’s Discord, etc., rather than on this Forum.
yes you are right, I will try to make the request to them perhaps to see what they think. the potential of memes is big in this period and it is enough to look at the numbers brought by the dApp of another famous blockchain (I won’t mention the name because it doesn’t seem right to mention it in our astar forum). Interesting proposal, Emanuele. Having $ASTR added as a payment option, together with $ETH, with some incentives to be used, could be a mutual benefit for both the Astar community and SoneFi. It’s a thought-provoking idea to explore.
Hi Emanuele. The meme sector is certainly having a strong impact throughout WEB3 and I believe it will be a big trend on SONEIUM too. It would be really super to have the ability to use the $ASTR token in MEME launch platforms like SoneFI as an alternative payment token of $ETH. Great initiative, but I believe this will rely more on alignment with the SoneFi team and the incentives the Astar Foundation can provide to boost ASTR usage. I’m looking forward to seeing the team’s response.
