Hi, thanks for the introduction.
I am surprised to see that you have already launched on the mainnet.

I have read your documentation and I have the impression that it is a bit lacking in content.
Your competitors already include Neemo, Algem and Bifrost, but the documentation is not as extensive as theirs. I don’t think the basic flow is much different, but I think it would be more credible if you explained it better.

On top of that, I have a few questions.

  1. which projects will be staked in dApp Staking?
  2. the current APR is over 20%, which cannot be achieved without bonus rewards. How is this APR calculated?
  3. the conversion rate between ASTR and wstASTR is currently 1:1, what is the situation?

Hello, @Adam_Astake! Thanks for adding your project and for bringing your efforts to the Astar & Soneium ecosystem.

LS protocols are always welcome for the flexibility they provide to users in terms of usability, so I love to see more of this category joining the ecosystem.

Now, how does Peckshield provide you with security, and is there support for these guarantees?

Sorry for the late response and thank you for the great questions! While the workflow on staking is not much different,

  • Bifrost provides a specialized LST solution via bifrost chain vToken.
  • Algem 2.0 introduces a yield-bearing upgrade with xnASTR, plus voting mechanisms.
  • Neemo offers nsASTR, integrating a points and restaking system for additional yield.

Astake remains focused on Staking at this stage. As highlighted in our introduction, our primary objectives are:

  • High APR from dApp Staking
  • Liquidity via yield-bearing $wstASTR
  • Multi-Chain Support through CCIP
  • Security with PeckShield audit
  • Extra Yield opportunities through DeFi partnerships
  • Intuitive UI for a seamless staking experience

Our vision is the same — enabling users to participate in dApp Staking, support the ecosystem, and earn attractive yields. More options for users only strengthen the ecosystem.

Which projects will be staked in dApp Staking?

  • Now - Astar Core Contributors
  • Later - Astake
    • We are in the process of applying for dApp Staking.
    • Rewards for Astake by then will also be distributed to Astake stakers.

The current APR is over 20%, which includes bonus rewards. How is this APR calculated?

  • The displayed APR is based on ideal conditions.
    • APR = dailyRewardASTR/TotalStakedASTR × 365
    • Once Astake is listed on dApp Staking, the APR will increase. A detailed formula will be provided upon update.

The conversion rate between ASTR and wstASTR is currently 1:1. Why?

  • wstASTR is yield-bearing, ratio will increase over time.
  • Minor increases by now are rounded up for display purposes.

Thanks again for the great questions. We appreciate your care and attention!

Sorry for the late response and thank you for your great insight. We are also glad to be part of the category.
For users, it’s beneficial to have more options;
For ecosystem, more protocols - more teams contributing to the growth

Security is a top priority for us - Astake has undergone a full audit by PeckShield, You can find the full audit report in our user doc at https://astakes-organization.gitbook.io/doc
Astake ensures a safe staking experience for all.
Thanks again for the great question!

Thanks for your response and for sharing the link to the audit report!

I have read the report generated by PeckShield and everything looks excellent, I like that they are taking security as a priority in the development of the project, let’s keep moving forward!

Definitely an interesting plus that any of our users would like to see, at this point, is all this already possible with Astake?

Thank you for your reply.
I generally understand, but I am still not convinced regarding the displayed yields.

The current dApp Staking yields look like this.

The Bonus APR must remain staked during the voting period until the next period, so you will not receive it if you participate now. Therefore, even if the total is 20%, that yield is impossible to accrue.
Neemo offers a yield that includes Bonus APR, but it incorporates a mechanism that locks you in until the next period to do so.
How does Astake work in this regard?

This is a good question, I would like to know the answer too.

How does Astake work in this regard?

We will not lock up $ASTR from any stakers and it’s safe to stake, free to unstake

  1. You are correct, 20% APR will not be accrued once the staked $ASTR drops under the amount of staked $ASTR during vote&stake sub-period

  2. The 20% APR currently shown reflects the ideal APR, which includes bonus rewards. If we become ineligible for bonus rewards, the APR will decrease. This is why we’ve mentioned a 15%+ APR in our introduction—our goal is to provide realistic expectations, we won’t exaggerate.

  3. We are working on

    1. pushing the adoption of $wstASTR
    2. additional yield opportunities through DeFi partners
    3. listing on dApp Staking for extra rewards

Astake will be able to provide appealing opportunities for all $ASTR users, with an APR likely exceeding 20%

Thanks.

i wonder if your platform is in ACS Campaign!

Astake Protocol itself will not be included, but wstASTR will be one of the eligible assets with for the campaign.

Absolutely, thank you!

…at this point, is all this already possible with Astake?

Features mentioned are now live—feel free to explore them on our official website and share any feedback you have.

Regarding the additional yield opportunities with $wstASTR, this is the key focus for us at the moment.
We’ll be providing updates on our progress through social media posts and community spaces, which are also currently in preparation.

I understand, this point is clearer to me.

I understand that you have mentioned in your introduction that it can be 15% or more APY, however, as a user, when visiting your website and seeing the information of 20% APY (today at 19.91%) I can feel a little confused.

It’s just a feedback, I hope you receive it positively, all for the betterment of the ecosystem  .

I agree with what @Juminstock is saying and think this is misleading and should be worded more accurately. I think it would be acceptable if it were at least expressed as “~19.91%” and explained in detail in the documentation.

Sorry for any confusion, and thanks for the valuable suggestion.
We’ll refine the wording and add more details to our document shortly!

LS projects are great because they help unlock liquidity for staking users, I have a few questions regarding their implementation:

  1. besides ASTR (wstAstar) what other assets do you plan to integrate?
  2. How do you intend to keep your APR attractive to users?
  3. What other ecosystems are you going to integrate in the future?
  4. Will there be any incentive campaigns?

Thank you.

Thank you for your support and the great questions! @Vangardem

wstASTR - the yield-bearing, non-rebasing liquid staking token, is the sole asset of the Astake protocol. We do not plan to integrate any other assets.

We are actively working on a proposal to list Astake on Astar dApp Staking. Once listed, we will stake ASTR on Astake protocol and allocate a portion of the rewards to our protocol as incentives to further enhance APR. The exact proportion remains TBD, and we remain open to suggestions.

Our focus will remain on Astar and Soneium, as Astake is built on Astar dApp Staking and Soneium presents significant opportunities for ASTR. These ecosystems will be our primary areas of development.

In addition to providing a competitive APR for all Astake users, which itself ensures extra yield, we are also in discussions with DeFi partners within the Soneium ecosystem. These collaborations may unlock additional earning opportunities in the future including more points/more emissions. Please stay tuned.

Thanks for the explanation, it has cleared all the doubts I had about it.

Thank you for the proposal. Personally, I think the UI looks easy to use. If I may, I’d like to ask a few additional questions:

  1. In terms of numerical targets, such as number of users and number of transactions, what figures has the team set?

  2. What plans does the team have for promotion or communication?
