This post gives a complete introduction to what Astake is, its updates, and its current status. Great that you shared this!

From my personal experience, I’ve used Astake and it works great, I really like the interface and find it very comfortable to use.

We even created a tutorial video at Astar on how to do staking using Astake:

Keep up the great work for our ecosystem! :astr:

Thank you for the detailed report — great performance!

By the way, I have a question regarding the APR display, which I also mentioned back when you first applied for dApp Staking listing.

Currently, your UI shows 17.78%, which I believe represents the Basic + Bonus APR.
However, in order to receive the Bonus APR, users need to stake during the voting period and maintain their stake until the next period. I couldn’t find this mechanism in your dApp.

In other words, not everyone should be able to receive a 17.78% yield.
Could you clarify how this is being handled?

Thanks for sharing the report but can you add the website and social media? When I search I only see a link to a website with the cc domain not dev.

Thanks for highlighting this point! @you425

:one: Protocol-level APR (current expected APR)

  • The APR currently shown (~17.78%) reflects the current expected APR, which includes bonus reward.
    • Based on our current growth and overall project stability, this APR is achievable under normal circumstances - it is realistic for users.
    • If any exceptional situation arises (massive unstake causing loss of bonus reward eligibility), the UI will be updated to reflect the actual APR.
    • We do not implement any lock mechanism to maintain staked amounts, but we offer additional yield opportunities for wstASTR users across Soneium in collaboration with our partners to encourage continued staking, ensuring both the protocol and all users can earn the bonus APR.

:two: Late Staker APR

  • Users who stake on Astake after the voting sub-period ends are still eligible for the overall APR, including the bonus portion.
    • Although they may join after the voting sub-period, their stake contributes to maintaining Astake’s overall staked amount and reduces the risk of Astake losing bonus eligibility for the period.
    • This approach keeps the system flexible, allowing users to participate in staking anytime according to their needs.

:three: Early unstaker APR

  • Bonus reward is claimed at the end of the period. Astake users who unstake before the period ends will receive only the base APR.

Solution

  • We apologize for not addressing your feedback sooner. Your concern is valid — presenting the current expected APR alone may cause confusion for some users. To make these aspects more transparent and clear, we will immediately:
    • Add clear explanations in the UI (e.g., tooltips)
    • Update documentation and the community FAQ channel

We appreciate your feedback and will make sure the APR display is as transparent and informative as possible, while still reflecting the maximum potential rewards for full-period participation.

Thanks for the notice! Edits have been made. :folded_hands:

We’re sorry about the phishing site(the .cc one) causing confusion. We’ve reported it several times and will follow up promptly.

Thanks for the update, Adam! Great progress from the team

Curious, are there any upcoming integrations or partnerships planned for Q4 to further expand wstASTR’s utility across the Soneium ecosystem?

I see, that makes sense.
Since wstASTR is a yield-bearing token, the total rewards are reflected in the redemption amount based on the share ratio. However, because most users rarely redeem after minting, they effectively receive bonus rewards on average.

What I’m curious about is the APR for early unstakers.
When I try entering the current timing in the UI under Unstake, the conversion ratio doesn’t seem to differ from what it was at the time of staking.

Thank you very much — I appreciate it!

Thank you Matt! and thanks for your question! @Matt

We’re now entering a more steady and sustainable phase of development. While there isn’t a fixed lineup of integrations planned specifically for Q4, our focus remains on continuously exploring meaningful opportunities, especially within Soneium ecosystem.

Recent examples — such as the wstASTR/ASTR vault curated by Re7Labs on Morpho and Ponder. One’s support for wstASTR — illustrate the kind of organic growth we aim to maintain.

We’ll keep exploring any new opportunities and assessing potential collaborations from technical, strategic, and community angles. At the same time, we will actively gather community feedback and suggestions to guide our focus and be ready to move quickly when the right opportunities arise.

Thanks for your observation!

You’re absolutely correct.

Regarding the wstASTR/ASTR exchange rate: it updates daily after rewards are claimed, and the frontend displays the updated rate accordingly. However, because daily changes can be relatively small and due to rounding in the displayed data, the changes may not seem very obvious when checking the UI over a short period.

Great job on sharing the detailed updates from Astake! If you ever need help to share update in Chinese community, I would be super glad to collaborate with you! My tg is ahjxcrz!

Thank you Dr. Cao, we really appreciate it! :folded_hands: Your strong influence in Chinese community would be a great help!

We’re planning to release social media updates before the end of this Voting Subperiod, which will again cover some key metrics. Your support in sharing a Chinese-translated QRT version would be highly valuable.
Let’s stay connected on TG! @DrCAO

Ah, I see. I understand now.
So it means that if there are users who unstake early, the APR will decrease to reflect that, and it doesn’t directly impact that individual. I misunderstood based on the term “Early unstaker APR.”

Thank you for your response.

Just a quick update, sir — The UI update for detailed APR display is now live.
It includes a tooltip with detailed information about the current expected APR, and a display adjustment when dApp Staking enters voting subperiod.

Thanks again for the sharing and suggestion! @you425

Thanks for the update! Great work getting the detailed APR display live the tooltip and voting subperiod adjustment sound really useful. Appreciate the quick turnaround!

Thank you, I’ve checked it.
So APR is currently hidden during the voting period—that makes sense to me.
Alternatively, it might be useful to display a provisional APR (with a note) based on the current expected APR shown on the Portal.

Regarding the tooltip: it says under the voting phase, “During this phase, stakers and dApps start earning rewards, and APR will be displayed.”
Isn’t that incorrect?

Thanks for pointing that out sir @you425 — it was indeed a mistake, and we’ve fixed it. Really appreciate it! :folded_hands:

We’ll definitely take that into consideration. The current expected APR displayed on the Astar Portal can be somewhat inaccurate during the early stage of the voting phase, we’ll try to explore ways to present this information more reliably.
