Hi everyone,
I said I would post the full walkthrough here when the private beta opened. It is open, so here it is.
Access rolls out in waves rather than all at once, so if your code has not arrived yet, you are still in the queue.
The app is at https://astarfi.astar.network
Getting in
- Sign in with Google or X. There is no email and password option.
- Connect a wallet. Rabby, Talisman, Rainbow, Base Account, MetaMask or WalletConnect.
- Sign one message to prove the wallet is yours. It moves no funds and grants no custody.
The wallet is the portfolio source, not the login. You are already signed in before a wallet is requested, and that order surprises people, so it is worth stating.
Save
Net worth, split into investment and money, with the change over the past 30 days. Investment PnL over today, 30 days and year to date, split into unrealized and realized. Money in and money out.
A trend chart that can overlay net worth against your investment and money holdings, across 7 days, 30 days, month to date and year to date. Below it, a plain-language read of how the period actually resolved, rather than only a number.
Allocation as a donut and a table, viewable by category, by protocol and by network. Hovering a segment lists the assets behind it. Two reads on your own portfolio sit next to it, liquidity and concentration, each with a one-line characterisation.
The part I would look at first is Holdings Breakdown. Every row expands into asset locations, so a position shows where it actually sits, on which network, at what APY, with interest earned. That is the difference between a portfolio and a token list.
Two details worth knowing before you read your own numbers. Unpriced assets are excluded from net worth by default. And indexed history starts 1 June 2026, so an older position needs its cost basis filled in once before the PnL means anything. You can do that yourself, along with labelling transfers as salary, rewards, gifts or moves between your own wallets. Swaps and bridges are tracked as transfers, not as income or spending, so a bridge does not turn into a fake realized loss.
Earn
Three protocols, Aave, Morpho and Midas, across Ethereum and Base. Vaults carry a risk tier, a star rating, current yield and a 30-day average, and you can put several side by side in a comparison view.
The vault detail panel is the part worth your attention. It names the curator, links out to the protocol, shows performance and management fees separately, and explains its rating in three explicit bullets. Then it shows underlying allocation, which is where the vault actually lends, against which collateral, at what size. It names the price oracle, writes out the key risks in prose rather than as a badge, and gives you the contract address.
Coverage is deliberately selective rather than a firehose. Ratings and risk tiers are Astar Fi’s own assessment, and a rating can be lowered or new deposits stopped when conditions change.
Invest
Buy and sell your non-stable assets, funded from a stablecoin you choose, with slippage tolerance shown before you confirm. Four categories: BTC and ETH, altcoins, tokenized stocks, and gold and silver. Tokenized stocks and ETFs are live, alongside gold and silver. Issuers are named in the product rather than hidden.
Crypto trades on Ethereum and Base. Tokenized stocks, ETFs and metals are on Ethereum. Astar Fi is multichain by direction and starts where the users and the blue-chip DeFi already are.
The piece that makes this an allocation tool rather than a trading screen is target allocation: you set long-term target weights per category, and the product shows you where you are over or underweight against them. Valuation signals sit on the asset rows and are informational only.
Private beta scope
So nobody is surprised:
- One connected wallet. Multi-wallet lands with v1.5, along with the AI assistant.
- The interface is in English, with values in USD.
- Astar Fi never takes custody of your funds, and it does not issue the assets. It brings the view together and gives you a path to act; the assets come from third parties.
- Free for early users. No subscription, no Astar Fi fee on Earn deposits, no Astar Fi trading fee. You still pay network gas and any third-party protocol fee, both shown before you confirm.
- It is a beta. Expect rough edges, and tell us about them.

What I am asking of you
In this thread, the product feedback. The unfiltered version, please:
- Does Astar Fi actually help you see what you own, and act on it? Where does it fall short?
- What is missing that you expected to be there.
- Suggestions and ideas. If you would build it differently, say so here.
- The moment you stopped. Wherever you paused, got confused, or closed the tab. That one is the most valuable and the hardest to get, because people are polite about it.
I will answer here.
For anything broken, use one of these instead, so it reaches the people who can fix it rather than sitting in a forum thread:
- Astar Fi Discord: Astar Fi
- Email: beta@astarfi.com
- Telegram: DM me at @Gaius_sama
That is the route for a number that looks wrong, a position it did not recognise, activity it labelled incorrectly, or anything that simply does not work.
