Burndrop PoC: The Pledge Period Is Now Live!

The wait is over. The Burndrop Proof of Conviction (PoC) is officially live and the Pledge Period is now open! 
As we shared above, the PoC is our opportunity to experience the Burndrop mechanism together, walk through its full lifecycle onchain, and shape this concept as a community before any future implementation. This is not just a test, it’s a collaborative step forward for the Astar Collective.

I. How to Participate 
Joining the Pledge Period is simple:
- Deposit exactly 2026 ASTR (one deposit per wallet)
- Deposits accepted from Astar EVM or Soneium
- Soneium deposits route automatically via CCIP, no manual bridging required
- Note: Tokens are locked upon deposit.
Once you deposit, your ASTR enters the PoC and your participation is recorded onchain. The dashboard shows live deposit data so you can follow the Pledge Period alongside the rest of the community.
II. Burndrop PoC Timeline

Everything runs onchain with verified smart contracts, transparent and observable from start to finish.
III. What Happens During Pledge 
Your 2026 ASTR deposit is recorded onchain and becomes part of the PoC vault. The dashboard tracks all deposits in real-time, creating shared visibility across the community. This period establishes the participant pool for the complete lifecycle ahead.
The Pledge Period is your entry point. Once it closes on December 28, no additional deposits will be accepted for this PoC round.
IV. Your Feedback Shapes What Comes Next 
This PoC exists because of the questions and expectations you raised during the RFC discussion. Now we need your insights again.
As you move through each period, share your experience through the Astar Discord or here on the forum. What worked well? What felt unclear? What would you improve? These insights directly influence how we design future Astar economic initiatives.
