Good morning community,
I’ve decided to write this post to inform those responsible, in case they are not already aware. Recently, the Neemo team published a post offering a reward and promising not to press charges against the hacker in exchange for the return of the stolen funds. Setting aside whether it was appropriate or not to make a public tweet instead of limiting it to an on-chain message, I’d like to draw attention to another issue. If we were to ask Grok to explain the incident, the AI attributes it to a flaw in the Astar blockchain. Let me make an assumption: if an AI like X’s reaches this conclusion by analyzing the information available online, it means the facts have not been explained clearly and accurately. I understand that Neemo might fear losing further trust by admitting their own mistake, but this does not justify Astar suffering such significant reputational damage. I therefore urge those responsible to provide official clarification, so as to contain the issue and reassure both blockchain users and holders.
