1// Yes primary target audience is DAOs looking to host a way to engage their own communities via governance voting. This can either be serious proposals about the future of the DAO, or just another way to engage community members with light hearted votes

We’re also sorry for the slow reponse for creating a smart contract. We’re having issues with our native wallet. Hoping to have this up in the next few days.

@SimonB since we are an off-chain voting solution we don’t usually have any smart contracts deployed, we just read the on-chain data for off-chain voting. Can I just supply you with a native wallet address or do you need a contract deployed as part of this process?

To proceed with the dApp Staking listing (and the ACC onchain motion), it’s required to have a verified smart contract deployed.

The Astar docs explicitly mention:

2. Deploy and Verify a Smart Contract

Your project must have a verified smart contract to register for dApp Staking.

You can either:

  • Use your own smart contract (recommended for active protocols)

  • Use the provided helloworld.sol template (for non-technical teams)

Supported Networks:

  • Astar Native (WASM)

  • Astar EVM (Public Endpoints)

Verification Tools:

Once you share that contract address (WASM or EVM), we can proceed with the onchain motion.
