Thank you for your proposal. Recently, I have been acutely aware of the importance of meme coins in boosting the web3 community.
However, I have some reservations about this proposal for dAppStaking listing. I am aware that everyone is working for the growth of the Astar Network. Therefore, if there is a need for funds to boost marketing, I think it would be good to get approval from the community individually and propose to acquire it from the treasury. Therefore, my opinion is a ‘No’ for the listing on dAppStaking.
Thank you very much for the proposal! I support Haha since it is already built on Astar and is well-known. However, I want to clarify that the dApp staking should support more development projects, not just meme coins, as they are risky. Listing Haha coin may attract more meme coins from Astar to join the dApp staking. I do notice that you have the play-to-burn on-chain game, and the marketing side is also good. However, I am not a big fan of the liquidity provision aspect.

We would appreciate it if you could read through our application again. HAHA is not just a speculative meme coin project. We have contributed significantly to the launch of Astar zkEVM and have/are building various initiatives.
Regarding the concern about opening dApp staking to other meme coins, we see no issue with this. As mentioned multiple times in our responses: projects should be assessed based on their merit to the ecosystem, not their project’s category. If a meme token offers nothing to Astar other than speculation, its dApp staking application should be rejected. This topic has been discussed and addressed in detail in the comments and we encourage a re-read to show this has already been demonstrated.
We would appreciate a more detailed response about your concerns around the liquidity provision. Using rewards to create and burn LP tokens benefits the token by creating price stability, but it also supports the official Astar Network ASTR burn goals. Since LP will be sent to the burn address, all LP rewards will be paid into the burn wallet; effectively removing ASTR from circulation forever.

I think this memecoin can bring a new kind of users to the Astar Network because of this reason i would support the proposal but i am not eligble to vote.

Hi Haha team, happy to see the proposal and thanks for your contributions on different aspects. As others have already mentioned, memes could be seen as one of major categories and they have an essential role in the ecosystem, I would say.
For example, AD has a crucial role, as one of the first DAOs on Astar. if Haha can get listed on dApp staking, then your steps will be crucial for the next meme projects, as you are on an unprecedented path from that moment. Root for the project based on what you have accomplished so far and look forward to seeing continuing to contribute to the ecosystem.

Thank you very much for the proposal. Having a variety of options for users is really great. Especially new categories like memes - that’s definitely exciting and engaging. I fully support this, let’s go for it. =)
I am pleased that the majority voted yes. The main reason for this is that in the crypto world, popularity is as important as the institutional value of projects. To be honest, meme tokens’ popularity in the crypto world is higher than most other trends.
The contribution it will bring to the network is open to discussion, but I am definitely in favor of Haha being on dApp staking. The reasons for this are its presence on Astar ZkEvm and its potential to promote our network with a small budget.
I would only recommend that the Haha team make significant innovations on social media and Telegram/Discord groups. I love the team, but I can’t say they manage sociological issues very effectively.
I can discuss this with you and offer my help voluntary
