As Astar continues to evolve and expand its governance model beyond the Foundation to include external contributors and governance bodies like the Astar Main Council, Astar Community Council (ACC), and Astar Technical Committee, this program establishes the foundation for broader community participation in the network’s direction and operations.

The Astar Community Program consists of two interconnected components working together to build a more decentralized, community-governed ecosystem:

An educational initiative empowering every ASTR holder to understand and participate in Astar Governance. Learn proposal mechanics, treasury operations, and collective decision-making through structured pathways and hands-on exercises.

Together, they create a framework where meaningful participation is recognized, tracked onchain, and directly connected to your influence within the network.

I truly believe it’s an excellent idea, absolutely perfect for rebuilding that strong sense of belonging that, unfortunately, has been a bit lacking lately.I know everything can always be improved (and I’m sure it will), but I fully and enthusiastically support this move.

I think this system is a great program that will encourage not only the current Ecosystem Agents but also many more community members to get involved with Astar.
Of course, we won’t know how the number and quality of participants will evolve until the program is actually underway, but the potential value is significant.

Also, since the current Agent Program will transition into this new structure, it may help address some of the occasional criticism regarding Agent compensation.

The Astar Community Program gives contributors a clear path to grow, build onchain reputation, and take part in governance as the network evolves. The structure around the Ambassador Fellowship and governance education is a big step toward a more decentralized Astar.

Astar Network has continued to develop itself in every way throughout its journey. The ambassador program is one of these developments. It is the final stage in the evolution of our ambassador program at AFF. We hope that with this latest version, we can reach more effective individuals who represent Astar and achieve great success globally, starting with local SubDAO-style formations.
