Love the progress so far! Super cool that you’re building everything from scratch — can’t wait to see the game come to life
@Satoshi, actually your proposal is calling the incorrect extrinsic and, even if approved, it won’t execute what you’re looking for.
You called CommunityTreasury.ProposeSpend
, but this is incorrect.
I provided you with this section of the documentation that explains it in detail: How to submit a Treasury Spending Proposal.
Please, if you wish to proceed down this path, I encourage you to create your proposal again calling the correct extrinsic (please read this part of our documentation in detail).
You can use the call from these proposals as reference:
- Empowering Latam Onchain – Astar & Soneium by Kairos Research Milestone 1/3
- Age Of Chronos - treasury proposal
Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Thank you for your patience and time.
I’ve created a new one.
Okay, @Satoshi, what you did there was create a funding request from Astar’s Main Treasury. This treasury is under the administration of the Main Council, or you can also access it under approval of a public referendum. What will happen now will be:
- The Main Council will review every detail of your proposal and will possibly make change requests if something doesn’t align from their perspective.
- They will approve/reject your request at their discretion, providing you with the greatest detail about the reasons for their actions.
This is one route to take, however since your request is considerably high at 3.77M ASTR, I recommend going through the public route: referendum.
If you wish to opt for this route, the only additional thing you need to do is:
- Create a public proposal in
Democracy/Public Proposals
- Link it to the ID of your funding request (yours is #16)
- Get seconds and proceed to referendum
This route allows each ASTR holder to support/deny your proposal and I think it’s the best route for your case.
Again, it’s under your decision. Whatever route you take, I wish you much success and to NEET.
Thanks again for your help.
The proposal is now in the democracy section.
Hey, @Satoshi why did you set your Treasury Spending Request to “Wrong Proposal - Vote Nay”? If you leave it like this, the Main Council will proceed to clean up your proposal. Please read the documentation I shared with you if you don’t understand something since all the information is there.
Lastly, one step you skipped was creating a new forum post to request your grant. Let me remind you of Astar’s typical process (which you’ve known for a long time):
- You open a post here in the forum for at least 7 days. During this time period, the community will come, ask their questions, and give feedback on your proposal.
- Once feedback is applied and after receiving positive sentiment from the community, you can proceed to create the public proposal (you already did this, you don’t have to do it again).
- Finally, voting opens and the community approves/rejects your proposal.
What are you missing?
- Edit again the Treasury Spending Request you have in
Treasury/Proposals
with all the details, just like you had it before (if you don’t do this, the main council could simply delete it). - Open a new post here in the forum under the
Astar
&Governance
category with the appropriate title for your case, which would be something like “Grant request to accelerate NEET.”
That’s it! If you have doubts, please check first.
Thanks once again.
I hope everything is good this time.
