I propose to make an updated report of how much $astr all active dapps have earned from their first day to date and that all progress is recorded and that milestones achieved are compared to the promises made by developers in the proposal phase with the relative timing.
Understand if more or less has been done for each individual dapp. I propose to pay Ambassadors not directly or indirectly involved in supporting other dapps and I propose that the core team at least once in the last two years supervise this, despite the limited time available.
After this list is made, I propose that a discussion be held regarding each dapp involved on their respective listing proposals. There are reports that are stuck a year ago, and developers who disappear too easily, effectively stealing funds from the community.
Hello @Zorounashi I can understand Your point due to the recent VLS announcement but I think asking to check every individual dApp is wrong. Many of them have totally different purposes and do not necessarily rely on users activity , examples are :
Talisman (wallet provider)
OnFinality (blockchain infrastructure platform)
Kekkai (web3.0 anti-fraud security checker)
keyvault (A blockchain-based password manager) and many more
The tier system still needs to be optimized but even removing all not active dApps will not impact that much the rewards for developers. In my opinion Astar should just focus more on bringing more interested developers to the eco and we cannot disagree with the fact in the recent months Astar start to have A LOT of interesting partnerships with development focused platforms.
Just to conclude and don’t move off topic we already have a planned governance improvement to solve these issues and I recommend to read this proposal to check which are the future developments for the dApp staking management and dApps activity checking
your speech is logical. but i never talked about what you wrote and i agree with that. Reports are absent for the majority of dapps, some of them haven’t even updated their personal social profiles with a detailed report for months. It’s not difficult to check. I’m sorry but on this point we disagree a lot. when did you ask the last question to a dopp as an Ambassador? i only read things like: “we hope to receive updates soon” … Then everything is silent for months and another Ambassador presents the same question again. Here nobody says that there should be a 24/7 control and situations like VLS will happen, but currently Astar is wasting funds, and many deserving developers are instead damaged by the behavior of dapps and Ambassadors who most of the time have common interests. If for example Talisman team in its proposal states some things, those things must be considered as objectives to be achieved and if those objectives are neither discussed through periodic reports nor achieved, what are we talking about sorry? Why instead of finding a credible excuse by obviously citing me as team legit don’t you tell me about everything else honestly?
A legitimate approach, everything is out of control, there is a real lack of transparency, lack of delivery.
Giving as an example some dapps that do not require this control is a lack of respect, since the community knows their purpose. More others with illusory promises have benefited from funds with no questions asked and no charges.
I can understand the discontent of the situation but on the other hand I would like to specify that:
All the dApp slots are not filled so any other builder can join dApp staking
If the dApp goes below tier4 or remains it gets little or nothing as rewards, I see no reason behind the statement to steal the places from the devs who deserve it.
I didn’t get this point. Excuses to what ? What do you mean mentioning everything else ?
The whole governance model is still in building process and sharing Your opinion may help to improve it
@Kabrine Where do You see the lack of respect ? I choose these dApp just to explain what every dApp have a different model and it’s quite hard to judge them on the same metrics.
I might recommend to read the Gov1 proposal to check which are the next steps
AstarHood: The Mythical Outlaw of the Astar Ecosystem - Opening statement
Greetings, fellow members of the Astar community!
I am AstarHood, an anonymous voice within the ecosystem, here to bring the cause of fairness, transparency, and value creation in the Astar Network. Inspired by the legendary Robin Hood, my mission is to ensure that the dApp Staking system remains a powerful tool for innovation and growth—reserved for projects that bring genuine value to the ASTR token and our broader ecosystem.
I’m here to help to make sure those reports are build with proper information. As anonymous voice I (we) do have many insights and information available to make well thought judgements.
All developer wallets are available, so it’s very easy to understand where they are using their funds for. We should be critical to ask what it’s used for but it never has been done through the Astar community. AstarHood will make the difference and start questioning the projects if they need to be questioned.
We just got started but our mission is to be ready before Soneium launched it’s mainnet.
