Summary

This post serves as an official proposal from the Astar Community Council to delist Zenlink from the Astar Network dApp Staking Portal. The proposal outlines the rationale behind the suggested delisting and invites the community to review and provide feedback in accordance with governance procedures.

The primary reason for this proposal is due to inactivity, violation of community standards, and failure to meet performance criteria.

:cross_mark: Reason for Delisting Proposal

The Astar Community Council recommends the delisting of Zenlink for the following reasons:

  • Inactivity: The project has not demonstrated any development activity or community engagement for the past numerous months, indicating possible abandonment.

  • Non-compliance: Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct guidelines and expectations set forth by the Astar Community Council, including but not limited to:

    • Lack of transparency with the community: No public Astar-centric communications in over 6 months.
    • Failure to meet the deadlines specified in the guidelines or by the Council/Community
      • Individual messages were sent to 3 team members with no response.
    • Insufficient engagement on social media and absence of updates
  • Lack of Value Contribution: The project has not demonstrated meaningful contribution to the Astar ecosystem in terms of TVL, community participation, or on-chain activity.

:bar_chart: Supporting Evidence

  • Lack of activity on social platforms, including Discord and X.
  • Failure to fill out the ecosystem wide survey and respond to the outreach the council has done.

:loudspeaker: Community Engagement & Feedback

:white_check_mark: Next Steps

  1. Open community discussion and feedback period for 4 days.

Thanks for the proposal.
I was personally rooting for Zenlink, but unfortunately there is already no activity and I think it is appropriate to delist it.

Fully support this proposal. Zenlink has been inactive and unresponsive—delisting is the right move.

Agree , we need to remove all inactive dApps.

I had a lot of faith in their team and was an active user in 2020 and 2021, especially for transferring funds between Kusama, Moonriver, and Astar. At the time, DOT didn’t have any DEX that enabled this kind of transaction between Kusama and Polkadot. It’s a shame the team didn’t continue contributing to the ecosystem. I vote for delisting due to the lack of activity.

Excellent work analyzing the inactive projects in the ecosystem. The data clearly shows that they’ve been inactive for a long time — it’s time to remove the project.

I support the initiative.

I’m supporting the delist if they are not active on Astar anymore
