Proposal to List ASTR on Türkiye's Licensed Crypto Exchange (Free listing)

Hello everyone,

I joined Safebit Crypto Asset Trading Platform Inc. in October 2025. Since then, I have been actively involved in shaping and implementing cryptocurrency regulations and compliance processes in Türkiye.

As many of you may know, Türkiye has introduced a regulatory framework for crypto asset service providers that is, in many ways, similar to the South Korean model. This means Turkish users will gradually be required to use only licensed cryptocurrency exchanges. At Safebit, formerly known as Bitci, I currently serve as a Director. Safebit is the third-oldest cryptocurrency exchange in Türkiye and has been operating since 2018.

Throughout my years in the Astar Network ecosystem, we all invested an incredible amount of time and effort—through both the good and the difficult times. While I was fortunate enough to contribute to Astar globally, one of the biggest challenges for Turkish users has always been the lack of a direct ASTR listing on a Turkish regulated exchange.

With the new regulations, access to global exchanges has become significantly more difficult for Turkish users. For example, users now face withdrawal limitations when transferring funds to global platforms, and P2P services have effectively been restricted. As a result, having ASTR available on a licensed Turkish exchange has become much more important than it was in the past.

Safebit is in a strong position, with TRY 500 million in paid-in capital, over 1 million registered users, and approximately 85,000 active users. Thanks to my position within the company, I am able to facilitate the listing of ASTR on Safebit completely free of charge. There will be no listing fee for the Astar Foundation, and I will personally cover the costs related to the listing process and the initial liquidity support.

The only thing I would ask from the Astar team is support with visibility once the listing is confirmed. If the announcement could simply be shared through Astar’s official channels when ASTR goes live on Safebit, it would help us reach Turkish users and let them know that ASTR is finally available on a licensed Turkish exchange. Beyond that, I am not asking for any financial contribution from the Foundation.

We could also organize a Launchpool campaign, and I am willing to cover the cost of that initiative as well.

I see this as my way of giving back to the ecosystem that has been such an important part of my journey. I truly miss this community, and I sincerely hope that one day Astar Network regains its momentum and achieves the success it deserves.

Thank you all for everything, and I hope we can build something meaningful together once again.

With best regards,

Leo
