The Raspberry Pi 5 has been released in Japan! The cost of the unit is less than $100 based on the dollar.
And by the time I realized it, the 8GB model was already sold out… Sad

I wanted to study about Node, so I thought this might be a good opportunity to try running an archive node (when the 8GB is back in stock…).
It seems that the Peers program already has more than 10 participants, but is it still possible to join? I live in Japan.

Some updates.
We have atm 16 members running PIs now.
We got some members from west asia.
We are still looking for 1-2 more people from africa. But they need to run a mini-computer and not a VM, as this is part of the educational lessen from the program!
