Awesome. Really appreciate it!

Hello Magusz

It’s great to see Singular coming to Astar Network EVM and I’d be happy to support your dApp Staking application as I’ve been a Singular user for a long time.

I have a few questions and comments I’d like to share with you before I make my voting decision.

  1. I am trying to test Mintaur.app but when I select the Astar network in the drop down network window, the fees remain in ETH and the dApp suggests I switch to Base at the bottom of the page.

  1. I noticed on Singular.app that your marketplace only indexes the Astar NFT collections minted using Singular and not all the NFTs that are on Astar EVM. Do you plan to integrate them all into Singular as Bluez or Tofu NFT already do?

  2. When trying to mint a new NFT collection with Singular, the minting fee is 20 ASTR, which is 20,000 more than the gas fee for a smart-contract tx on Astar EVM.
What’s the justification for these very high fees?
If someone wants to mint 20,000 NFT in the collection, do they have to pay 20,000 times the 20 ASTR or is it just a one-time payment for opening the collection?

  1. Astar Network is not available on emotes.app. What’s the integration timetable?

Yeah same question I just want to ask. The gas fee 20 ASTR is for making a collection, or just mint a single NFT?

Hi.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explore and come up with those questions.
1 - It’s a bug that will be fixed soon.
2 -We are currently testing erc721 indexing, which will allow us to index and add collections like Astar degens and other popular erc721 collections.
3 - Our contracts are a bit more expensive than usual due to the fact that they are modular NFTs. As these nfts have more features built in.
We also add a fee for minting on Singular to cover our ipfs pinning and infra costs (1$ per minting). Anyone can deploy a contract and mint nfts outside of singular and ask us to add it to the registry so they appear on Singular, and this is free. We are also going to introduce ways to get discounts and credits (through NFTs) that lower or remove minting fees altogether. We are actually have some conversations about the possibility of minting discount voucher nfts for Astar Singular stakers.
4 - We plan to add Astar to emotes.app soon. Hopefully within a month. We want to have all our dApps using the same chains as Singular.

Let me know if you have any other question.

Thank you for your support.
Really appreciate the kind words.

I like Singular, eventhough a bit dissappointed when you guys are more focused on Ethereum, but I’m happy with the results of EIP there.

Voted yes, hopefully in the future we could see many modular NFTs there.

As a RMRK fan and Kanaria holder, I liked what RMRK did for the NFT on Kusama (nested nft, multi-resources, emotes and conditionality).
Obviously I was disapointed when you moved on evm side but you did good work with EIP.
Do you plan to do the same work with PSP standards and do you support the wasm NFT?

Kusama had a thriving community when we started, and we are forever grateful to it, but we recognized early that to get the critical mass to notice RMRK standard, we had to appeal to a wider community, and at the moment it is on EVM. However, we absolutely recognize the technical advantages of Substrate and Ink!/WASM. Thanks to the great effort of Astar team, the RMRK implementation is almost complete on Ink!, and we are excited to try it out and help finish it and prepare it for PSP. But due to the limited capacity, this won’t happen this year, unfortunately.

Thank you for your support and vote.

Really glad to see RMRK join the Astar family. I think NFTs are really important for global adoption and having all these standards will be a huge boost for Astar as well. I support this proposal :handshake:

100% my Support. I think these NFT Standards are great and can be used by various projects in the future.
