Dear AstarFarm team @pacy ,
AstarFarm has joined the dAppstaking since 2022 April (dAppstaking application), and I still remember the moment that I got impressed when the collaboration between Carbee and AstarFarm was announced back in mid 2022 (see Calbee Collaboration | AstarFarm). It is not at all hard to see your contribution to the Astar Network, and the unique DeFi feature on AstarFarm is still innovative and fun.
Issue: No clear update, development, engagement (Latest update mostly Feb 2024)
Unfortunately, I (and I assume many others) have noticed that very little development / engagement / update are observed across all of the social media platforms of AstarFarm, though the team seems actively developing (see the team website). For example, the latest announcement on X and Discord is Feb 2024 and May 2024, respectively. On the Discord server, the latest information (for example, FAQ) is fairly outdated, updated in 2022 April, which is around the time the team applied for the dAppstaking. The guides also has the latest update two years ago, which is 2022. There are members on Discord, asking some questions pended for quite some time. So is the dAppstaking portal (see https://portal.astar.network/astar/dapp-staking/dapp?dapp=0x992bad137fc8a50a486b5c6375f581964b4a15fc)
Request
As the team is currently having ASTR staked more than 20m for this new staking period, it would be really helpful for those who look for the latest development / updates / announcement or anything the team can share with the community.
Please let me know if anything is unclear or needs to be further clarified.
Bests,
pithecus

I would like to consult further with the team, adding to pithecus.
Recently, Soneium has been gaining quite a bit of interest from users and developers. I’m not sure if the team has any additional roadmap or projects, or if you need help in any particular aspects. Please feel free to provide feedback. Thank you very much. =)
It seems to us that the team isn’t very engaged in sharing updates with the community on the forum… I’m disappointed by this stance from several teams. Perhaps delisting from dApp staking is the most effective alternative. A month has passed, and we still haven’t received any response.

Thanks a lot @pitcoin777 and @pithecus for this topic.
I did some research today on this dApp, need to confirm some things because I see some strange behaviour on the developer wallet.
Update, after doing some more research on the developer wallet and dApp Staking profile, I saw that 2 whale wallets are staking on them.
- Developer wallet itself, also holds a lot of ASTR and staking on themself
- The largest wallet seems to come from Bifrost
Seems this dApp was voted on through their community as part of dApp Staking to support vASTR, found this link:
The AstarHood team would like to propose the following solutions:
- Create a proposal on Bifrost to remove Astar Farm from their staking mechanism.
- Wait for the new dApp Staking round and propose to Bifrost community the projects that bring value to ASTR.
What are the tools I used to research:
- This great tool: Staker/dApp Amount
- PolkadotJS to check the projects EVM contract to search for the developer wallet

Hi @AstarHood thanks for your spending time and effort to collect such details. And thanks for sharing solution candidates. As these two candidates are directly related to how Bifrost community interacts with Astar community, I think it is still necessary that we need to know the current status from the Astar Farm team.
If we do not hear from them or only see minimum development and engagement, then perhaps delisting needs to be considered.
It seems that this has become a vice and some projects continue to earn passively without delivering anything in return for the Astar echo, hopefully the new governance system will come soon.
