I’m here to provide some clarity on the matter. Let me explain you how our UCG request works:

1. Forum discussions must last a minimum of 7 days. During this time, the entire community, the technical committee, and the Astar core team join in, provide their input, ask questions, and generate feedback on the various proposals shared in our forum.

That is exactly what has already happened here.

2. After that time, the team must create the proposal in our onchain governance here in the Community Treasury section.

Important: The UCG program is funded by the Community Treasury, and it’s our talented Community Council team who is in charge of evaluating proposals for listing on Astar dApp Staking and applications to the UCG program, which is the current case. So, the next steps are:

1. Create a proposal requesting a staking grant of up to 25M ASTR from the Community Treasury.
2. Wait for the Community Council to vote on the proposal.
3. If approved, your project will be listed; if not, collect the feedback and try again.

Note: We have a maximum of 6 projects that can apply for this staking grant within a 4-month period, with the possibility of extend/reapplying.

3. Submit milestones and monthly reports here in the forum, making your progress public for the entire Astar community.

That’s right! The staking grant provided to projects applying to our UCG program is 25M ASTR tokens.

you asked us what we expect from the game on Astar. We can’t answer or promise anything, in the meantime we’ll give you some numbers. We’re just at the beginning and some contracts are missing from the total count (Mint contract, and others that we’ll update soon). Please note that all tx are not sponsored. we expect that with the integration of paymaster there could obviously be more traction (like on other games),even if this fee are really cheap.
