Ok, in a situation of financial difficulty, for just a few thousand euros, not only will we have to deliver a playable game on Astar, but we’ll also have to define all the milestones in advance.
Our request was legitimate — to work month by month, delivering results and evaluating them as we go. But, as always, we’re the ones who have to test new policies and restrictions.
We’ve never seen such requests made to others, and from now on we’ll be watching with interest: every applicant should have to deliver a finished product and a full list of pre-defined milestones to achieve it.
In the first four months we followed the rules and delivered much more than required, hoping for external support that never came, all because of a ridiculous governance vote where we had only a 94% vs 6% minority share…
And instead of taking that into account, you’re imposing new constraints. Ok, you also want the milestones in advance? Fine.
Month 1:
Conception and creation of the first levels in CSV format – game design. This is the hardest part.
Creation of new game menus in Unity to allow switching between different networks.
Month 2:
New 3D graphic assets to be used for in-game items for other levels and creation of corresponding 2D icons for the game menu.
Creation of new game objects.
Testing, bug fixing, and implementation of the new assets in Unity.
Month 3:
Creation of in-game rewards to be delivered at the end of available levels.
Import of available levels into the Unity development build.
Update of the Unity development build.
Creation of a value table for enemy game characters.
Month 4:
Bug fixing and testing of the created levels.
Launch of the playable game on the Astar network.

Requests from SFY Labs to @Community_Council
We would like the community council votes and requests — such as this latest one made to SFY — to be made public from now on.
It feels like we’re talking to just one person, and that doesn’t seem right to us. We want to be able to read the opinions of all members of the community council. We don’t want to be subject to the views or mood of a single individual; therefore, apart from direct communications, we would like all decisions and votes to be made public.
We don’t even know if a real vote or discussion regarding our proposals ever took place. We don’t know whether the council’s requests are the result of an actual debate, how much time was dedicated to it, or if it was truly democratized through everyone’s vote. We only see occasional tags here and there implying the vote of all, but we don’t know if that’s really the case.
We are not implying anything — we simply wish to be informed, as is fair and transparent.

To the main council @Gaius_sama @Maarten and others.
We sincerely hope you are following how things are developing.
Thank you,
SFY Labs
