@SFY_Labs, the majority of the Astar Community Council is in favor of renewing your UCG slot for a second and last round. However, this renewal is conditional upon meeting several key requirements to ensure better accountability, clarity, and respect for the UCG program.
Key Conditions
1. Dedicated Forum Post
You must create a new forum post for this second round, clearly defining your objectives, deliverables, and expected monthly outcomes. This will help maintain transparency and track progress effectively. The title should be: SFY Labs - UCG Program Application (Second round).
2. Proper Use of UCG Funds
UCG funds must be used exclusively for development-related purposes, not for marketing, community initiatives, or operational expenses like ThirdWeb costs or Paymaster integrations.
These activities fall under the dApp Staking scope, not the UCG Program.
The UCG exists to support early-stage projects that have not yet launched on Astar and need support to reach at least Stage 1, the point where they can operate independently through dApp Staking.
3. Program Differentiation
The UCG Program and the Direct Grant proposal are separate initiatives. Deliverables funded through UCG must stand on their own, even if the Direct Grant is approved later.
4. Respect for the UCG Program
The Council expects your team to demonstrate a professional and respectful attitude toward the program and its purpose. Even if smaller in scale, UCG funds must be valued and properly utilized.
5. Improved Reporting Discipline
Given previous reporting delays, this renewal will only remain active if you provide timely and detailed progress reports. Any inconsistency or lack of updates may lead to immediate termination of your slot.
If these conditions are met, we’ll be happy to approve your renewal and continue supporting your growth within the Astar ecosystem.
