Aradia: Second Month Update — Building the Future of Launchpad on Astar Network

It’s been another intense and rewarding month at Aradia.app. As we continue building the go-to launchpad for the Astar ecosystem and beyond, we wanted to take a moment to share where we are, the hurdles we’ve jumped, and a major personal update from our core team.

Aradia is evolving. We are officially moving beyond static images to fully support the true breadth of your creativity. You can now mint high-quality videos—perfect for motion graphics and music—alongside dynamic GIFs and high-resolution images. This isn’t just a surface-level change; we’ve completely overhauled our backend and API infrastructure to handle files up to 100MB. Whether you’re a digital artist, a filmmaker, or a musician, Aradia is becoming the home you need.

This month definitely tested us. We faced a series of attacks on our infrastructure that slowed down our roadmap, but we used that as fuel to harden our foundation. We’ve successfully migrated to a much more robust and secure server environment.

Web3 takes more than just code, it takes soul and absolute focus. Our founder, 0xNigromante, has reached a massive turning point. Between moving houses and balancing different projects, he’s made a definitive call: “I’ve decided to step away from all other responsibilities to go 100% all-in on Aradia.” This isn’t just another tool for us—it’s a mission to make Aradia the main entry point for creators and newcomers into the Web3 space. We are here to stay.

Our vision remains clear: to bridge the gap between talented creators and the most promising ecosystems. Working hand-in-hand with Astar Network and preparing our sails for Soneium, we want to make onboarding so simple that any artist, regardless of their technical background, can put their vision on-chain with just a few clicks.

The wait is almost over. Our major update is dropping this week, as soon as possible.
We are currently polishing the very last technical and UI details to make sure everything is seamless from the first second you use it. Keep a close eye on our socials, because the rollout is imminent.

Thanks for sticking with us. Onwards to Month Three!

Huge congratulations to the team for the transparency, dedication, and passion you’re putting into this project. The dApp already gives off great vibes, and considering you’re still at an early stage, there’s plenty of room to grow and improve.. especially if you keep this level of commitment.

Keep building and pushing forward. You’re on the right path. :glowing_star:

Thank you for sharing your updates and for your wonderful motivation!

I have a question regarding the update:
-What exactly was the attack you mentioned?
-Is the damage caused by the attack known?
-Was the damage compensated?
-What measures did you take after the attack?

Congratulations on your new updates despite this unfortunate incident. I should also mention that the motivation shown by your founder and your team is exemplary.

Keep supporting Astar!

Good morning community! :sun:

First of all, we are thrilled to announce that our latest update is now live for testing on the Shibuya Network! :rocket: :backhand_index_pointing_right: Aradia - Launchpad on Astar Network

Stay tuned to our social media channels, as we will be announcing a new community event soon. :wrapped_gift:

What’s new in this update?

  • Multi-Format NFT Support: We’ve implemented support for Videos, GIFs, and Images. :clapper_board: (We are currently working on a specialized integration for audio formats; in the meantime, audio files can be uploaded as “videoclips”).
  • Collection Search & Discovery: allows you to easily find specific collections . :magnifying_glass_tilted_left:
  • Leaderboard & “Likers” Table: A new way to engage! Users can now support their favorite collections by signing a message with their wallet to “Like” them. :trophy:
  • Profile NFT Preview: You can now view all the intricate details of your favorite NFTs directly from your profile. :framed_picture:

We believe in building this ecosystem together. We are open to any questions, suggestions, or modifications you might have. Whether it’s a new feature implementation, a change in current mechanics, or a general improvement, your feedback is invaluable to us. Don’t hesitate to reach out!

Regarding the recent security concerns:

As previously mentioned, our server experienced a DDoS attack alongside unauthorized access attempts. To mitigate both past and future risks, we have significantly reinforced our infrastructure with:

  1. Cloudflare Integration & Firewall: Advanced protection to block malicious traffic at the edge.
  2. Strict Payload Validation: Ensuring all incoming data is legitimate and safe before processing.
  3. CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) Policies: Restricted access to ensure requests only come from authorized domains.
  4. Stricter Rate Limiting: Enhanced control over API requests and WebSockets to prevent abuse.

We sincerely apologize for the slight delay and want to thank you for your patience and ongoing support. We continue to build by you and for you!

100MB file support and video minting is a big step up. How’s the migration to the new server affecting performance? And have you seen any traction from the partnerships you mentioned last month?

Thanks for the update. The added NFT format support and discovery features make sense, and it’s good to see concrete steps taken on the security side.

How has overall performance been since the server migration during Shibuya testing?

Performance has improved significantly on our backend, we can now process increasingly larger amounts of NTFS. However, we are still working on optimizing multimedia content to make the experience much smoother.

Regarding collaborations, we have one pending and will be organizing a small contest next week, you will hear from us soon.

See you onchain :sparkles:

Regarding testing on Shibuya, it’s proceeding as expected. So far, we haven’t identified any issues on the backend/blockchain side. Currently, we can process:

  • Reading NTFS by address
  • Profile creation (on-chain pending)
  • ERC721 collection creation
  • Voting/like system
  • Support-based leaderboard
  • ERC20 token creation on both Shibuya and the Astar mainnet

We would be delighted to receive more of your comments and feedback, we are here to be your gateway to the artistic/creative world at Astar and Soneium.

See you onchain :sparkles:
