Awesome. Thanks ser!
I understand that the team is probably quite busy right now. If you have time, may I trouble the team to update us on the project’s progress? This would help us all understand the situation clearly, and if there are ways we can support each other, we can build on them in a timely manner. =)
Hello DeStore team,
It has been quite some time since we’ve seen any activity from DeStore on Astar, and we also haven’t seen any development reports regarding DeStore on Soneium.
We kindly ask you to provide a detailed report covering:
-
What has been accomplished over the past year,
-
What the team is currently working on,
-
Your roadmap and plans for the coming months.
Your timely reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Mouthmouth68

Hello @Mouthmouth68 ,
Thank you for reaching out and for your continued interest in DeStore. I’d like to give you a transparent update on where we’ve been, where we are now, and where we’re headed.
Progress Over the Past Year
Over the last 12 months, we’ve continued developing DeStore, though on a reduced scale. As many of you know, we’ve had to take on outside jobs to support ourselves while keeping DeStore alive as a passion project. Despite these constraints, we’ve maintained steady work on the core technology and explored new directions to ensure the long-term viability of the project.
Current Focus
We’ve recently pivoted from a pure e-commerce marketplace model toward enabling digital experiences that connect with commerce. Our main areas of focus right now are:
-
Scalable QR codes meeting GS1 standards, which are critical for supply chain interoperability and consumer engagement.
-
Canva integration allows creators and brands to design and link digital experiences directly from within the Canva platform.
Roadmap Ahead
In the coming months, we plan to:
-
Finalize and release our GS1-compliant QR code system.
-
Launch a working version of the Canva integration for public testing.
-
Continue exploring multi-chain deployment opportunities with both Astar and Soneium.
-
Provide more regular updates to ensure transparency with our community and partners.
You’re welcome to take a look at our current platform under development here: [Web3-link].
We remain deeply committed to the vision of DeStore, even if progress has been slower than originally anticipated. Thank you for your patience and support as we adapt and build toward a more sustainable future for decentralized commerce.
Best regards,
Josiah Kotzur
Hello @Doinglifewell,
As a member of the Astar community and part of the Community Council, I don’t see your message as sufficient justification for your low activity in recent months, especially considering that you have done zero things for Astar or with Astar.
Your main social network as justification: https://x.com/DeStore_Network
What have been your latest transactions on Astar? What contribution to the Astar ecosystem have you made in the past few months?
More than just text, I would like to see resources and links where dates and real development can be verified.
It doesn’t deserve it, and the explanation is simple, as @juminstock said: its main social network is dead.
Yesterday, I was talking about Cosmize with a member of the community council @Mouthmouth68. I advised them to reduce the time for removing projects that violate the dApp staking rules, and him replied that Cosmize currently does not receive staking rewards.
Now is a good time to bring this up, and I ask if DeStore currently receives staking rewards. If so, they should be stopped and removed from the list as soon as possible.
I still think that reducing the time to remove inactive projects from the list is essential.
Although I’m not familiar with your case, at least it seems like you’re showing up much more frequently than the neemo project.
Would you mind taking the time to answer @Juminstock questions and provide requested information?
Those are important for the community and the ACC to be able to get a clear view of Destore achivement and improvement over the past months.
thanks in advance

Hi @Doinglifewell! Thanks for sharing the update about DeStore, I am curious if there is any detailed report for the recent few months, and you can probably share more updates on X. If you had any big update or events in the near future and want to share it in Chinese community, please reach out, I would be super interested in helping, my tg is: ahjxcrz
I agree with Carlos here, it’s important to provide clear evidence of recent activity and tangible contributions to the Astar ecosystem. Transparency and verifiable progress help maintain accountability within the community.
I believe a detailed and honest answer is necessary, since it seems that Destore hasn’t shown any activity on Astar Network for quite some time.
If the team provides real data proving that we’re mistaken, that would be great — otherwise, I think all the conditions for a delisting proposal are met.
Thanks for bringing this up I’ve been discussing the same concerns with other Astar community members, and I fully agree that we need clearer visibility on DeStore’s actual progress.
From what I’ve seen, the proposal itself is ambitious and well positioned (especially the Sony AR + DTCC angle), but the gap right now is not about the vision it’s about verification.
To keep the community aligned and confident, it would help a lot if the team could clarify a few points:
Concrete Deliverables
So far, most communication has focused on branding, partnerships, and future plans.
Could the team specify which deliverables from the proposal have already been completed?
(e.g., wallet modules, AR integrations, first DTCC tests)
Japanese Team Onboarding
One of the proposal’s strongest claims was onboarding Japanese teams through DeAR.
How many teams/clients are currently onboarded, and what are they using the product for?
Private Funding Round Eligibility
You mentioned that stakers with 25,000+ ASTR will get access to the private round.
How many users are eligible so far?
And is there a timeline for when the private round is expected to begin?
Collaborations with Astar & Sony
Since these names carry huge weight, the community would love to understand:
– What parts of the proposal have actually been coordinated with Astar/Sony?
– Were any pilot tests, demos, or joint evaluations done?
DTCC Output and Metrics
DTCCs are a core part of the proposal.
How many have been issued to date, and what has user engagement looked like?
I’m personally very supportive of projects that help onboard “no coiners” into Web3, especially within Japan but for the sake of transparency during the voting period, it would be great if the team could provide a clear status update.
Looking forward to hearing from DeStore and seeing the progress more concretely.
Hi @Doinglifewell @Ivan @DustinLee
This is the final request from ACC for you to provide clear answers to the questions raised by both the council and community members.
If no satisfactory response is received within 7 days, ACC will initiate the Destore delisting procedure without further notice.
Hi everyone,
@Mouthmouth68 @Community_Council
I’ve been offline for a while and just saw the latest messages.
After reviewing the current situation, I believe dApp Staking is no longer viable for DeStore Network. Therefore, I respectfully request that DeStore be delisted from the dApp Staking program.
The project will most likely wind down in the coming months. That said, I still plan to continue building on my own in the background.
After many years of working full-time to make DeStore thrive, we’re now preparing for what looks like another prolonged bear market. I still strongly believe in the Astar Ecosystem and its long-term potential; however, at this stage it’s best for Astar to reduce its spending and focus resources on projects that can deliver more immediately.
Thank you to the Astar Community Council, the ambassadors, and the entire community for the support and feedback over the past year. I truly appreciate it.
We will release an official announcement regarding the future of DeStore in the coming weeks.
Best regards,
@Doinglifewell (DeStore founder)
And what about contributors getting access to the private round?
Are we gearing up for another “Astar community special edition rug”?
Just checking ![]()
Thanks for your response, and we really appreciate your honesty.
We’re genuinely sorry to see another project struggle to find its market and reach success. We were rooting for DeStore to go to the moon, just like so many teams who’ve dared to build on Astar.
As requested, we’ll start the delisting procedure on our side.
We truly wish you and the DeStore team the best moving forward.
@pitcoin777 You have always been negative towards us for some reason. Yes, you need to be careful of scammers; however, constant negativity creates a toxic environment to work in.
We never did a funding round. We were self-funded and worked many hours for free. We had 3 angels supporting us on the journey, all of whom are aware of the situation.
No community money was taken, other than support via staking.
Regards.
Thanks, @Mouthmouth68 You have been amazing to deal with. And though I do not see this as the end, it is the closing of a chapter.
Thanks a lot for your support - past and present.
Yes… every possible red flag was raised by me — in this very thread, actually.
Over a year of funding through dApp Staking and what do we have? Zero on-chain activity, zero ROI for Astar, zero rewards in shares and tokens, zero token allocation, zero ISPO.
.
Astar stakers rugged again.
I am sorry to hear about that, I do stake enough Astar and support the projects, sad that the special channel in discord and private funding round is not there anymore ![]()
