Dear Astar Community,

After careful evaluation and in light of the transition of Astar zkEVM to Soneium L2, we have made the decision to sunset and delist C14.wtf, our decentralized lending platform. This decision reflects the evolving technical landscape and our commitment to a smooth transition for all projects within the ecosystem.

Key Points of the Proposal:

  1. Rationale for Sunsetting C14
    • The migration of Astar zkEVM to Soneium L2 presents operational and developmental challenges for maintaining C14 on the current infrastructure.
    • To ensure alignment with the updated ecosystem and to focus on future opportunities, we believe this is the right decision.
  2. No User Funds Impact
    • We would like to emphasize that there are no user funds in C14’s contract addresses. This ensures that the sunsetting process will not impact the community financially.
  3. Transparency and Commitment
    • We have not conducted any private or public token sales, charged trading fees, or profited from community contributions in any way.
    • This decision to sunset the platform is purely driven by the technical requirements of transitioning Astar zkEVM to Soneium L2, ensuring alignment with the evolving infrastructure while maintaining the integrity of our platform and its stakeholders.
  4. Timeline
    • We propose to formally sunset C14 within the next two weeks.
    • During this period, we will focus on effectively communicating this decision to the community and ensuring transparency.
