Summary

This post serves as an official proposal from the Astar Community Council to delist Archisinal from the Astar Network dApp Staking Portal. The proposal outlines the rationale behind the suggested delisting and invites the community to review and provide feedback in accordance with governance procedures.

The primary reason for this proposal is due to inactivity and failure to meet performance criteria.

Project Information

:cross_mark: Reason for Delisting Proposal

The Astar Community Council recommends the delisting of Archisinal for the following reasons:

  • Inactivity: The project has not demonstrated any development activity or community engagement for the past numerous months, indicating possible abandonment.

  • Non-compliance: Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct guidelines and expectations set forth by the Astar Community Council, including but not limited to:

    • They seems to have launched their own blockchain with the support of the Web3 Foundation (link)

    • Failure to meet the deadlines specified in the guidelines or by the Council/Community

      • Individual messages were sent to 3 team members with no response.
    • Insufficient engagement on social media and absence of updates

  • Lack of Value Contribution: The project has not demonstrated meaningful contribution to the Astar ecosystem in terms of TVL, community participation, or on-chain activity.

:bar_chart: Supporting Evidence

  • Lack of activity on social platforms, including Astar Forum and X.

  • Failure to fill out the ecosystem wide survey and respond to the outreach the council has done.

  • The project seems to have launched their own blockchain with the support of the Web3 Foundation (link)

:loudspeaker: Community Engagement & Feedback

The Council encourages all community members and stakeholders to provide their input on this proposal within the next 4 days. Feedback can be submitted as a comment in this post thread.

:white_check_mark: Next Steps

  1. Open community discussion and feedback period for 4 days.

  2. Formal onchain vote

  3. Enactment of delisting if approved.

  4. Notification to Archisinal (on forum and X) and final removal from the dApp staking list.

Thank you for your proposal.

Since Archisinal’s activities are not recognized at all, I support this proposal.

i find it sad too. they had a very intersting project but astar failed to support them at their most critical periode. We should have done more…

I’m in favor of delisting Archisinal.

Not familiar with this project.

Care to elaborate?

Here is the link to their description Archisinal - Empowering the Creator Economy Using ink! NFTs

yes,you are right.

Many participating dapp projects have stopped updating, and we should get rid of them.

Interesting project.

That thread shows them being accepted into dApp staking…did something else happen that made them stop building?

Just interested in hearing the lessons learnt for how we as a community could have done more

They joined shortly after the release of dApp stking V2.

As a new project, they got no community support nor Astar support.
Did not request UCG - probably not even knowing it existed -

so they could not devlopp and be known enough on Astar to push forward on Astar.

AD Dao tried to support them to reach T4 but part of our own support got absorbed by other projects while threshold was rising sharply which forced us to realocate our found on our own dApp to not lose our T2 at that time - Not a fun period :anxious_face_with_sweat:

Thanks for sharing that tacit knowledge, i was not even aware of this project.

This was a common scenario at the time - however to make progress we need to look ahead but the important thing is to incorporate lessons learnt so mistakes are not repeated.

Hopefully going forward we can do this when innovative projects ask for support and need support to develop

I think there are all the parameters to delist this project from dApp Staking, since it has not respected the inclusion guidelines for a long time and does not actively participate in the Astar ecosystem.

Cannot agree more , I’m in favor of the Archisinal delisting as well.

Support it, same as in Tofu case. Let’s sweep the dApp staking clean!

Thanks @Mouthmouth68
I definitely agree. We don’t need inactive users in Astar dApp Staking.

Hi Emre,

From my perspective, it is only a necessary step to get a clearer picture of proejcts still active and operating on Astar. Furthermore, It is not merely a matter of need, but rather the recognition that several projects have chosen to withdraw from the Astar ecosystem — a setback that affects us all. It thus do not rejoice me to reach this point…

As the delisting of Archisinal has received unanimous agreement, the Astar Community Council (ACC) will initiate an official motion to delist Archisinal accordingly.

@Community_Council please go cast your vote here

@Maarten can you close the subject please?
