🎮 Proposal: Yoki Community Mini-Game Challenge

Your idea is concise, low-risk, and well-justified. The MVP and community-led approach is completely logical and aligns well with the current situation. The only concern is that if the gameplay is too simple, the test results may not reflect the true market potential. Overall, it’s a well-thought-out proposal, as long as the focus is more on making it fun rather than just executing it.

Hey,

I recently updated Yoki Arena on the Minato testnet : https://yoki-battle-ui.vercel.app/

At this stage, the game’s main features are fully operational:

  • Yoki minting, Yoki fusion, Equipment minting,
  • tournament registration and battle mechanics in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc.,
  • YokiDex, XP and stats management through the Soulbound Token Player.

It is already possible to view the results of the 1v1 and 3v3 tournaments held in the Sacred Mist Sanctuary and the Eternal Flame Dojo.
All battles were simulated and resolved by AI.

AI makes it possible to generate battles across a wide range of atmospheres and narrative styles, paving the way for tournaments that are more immersive, distinctive, and engaging for players.

In addition, via a vault and wrapper system, Yoki Arena can integrate any existing NFT collection on Soneium.
Some collections, such as previous Yoki collections, could become fighters in their own right, each with their own stats and dedicated arenas.
Other collections, such as the Soneium OG Badge, could be used as equipment for Yoki

This creates a wide range of possibilities for the project’s future development.

The next step will be to integrate ETH or ASTR as in-game payment tokens.
I am also exploring the possibility of introducing a prediction market, allowing users to bet on the outcome of battles.

@robert12342, @0xMR_IMAN, @pitcoin777 @you425 @MS-PY @Beky and everyone else,
please feel free to ask any questions, share your feedback, or suggest any improvements.

I tried Yoki Arena, and my honest impression so far is that it’s a bit hard to understand.

The generation of new Yoki-style characters and equipment is very well done. However, personally, I think it would be more meaningful if existing Yoki NFTs could be utilized. Of course, it’s important that new users who don’t own Yoki can acquire them, so in that sense new mints do have value.
That said, since there are already many Yoki NFTs, reusing them would also help activate the secondary market, which would be more meaningful for the network overall.

Also, this might be an issue on my end, but I’m unable to see my Yoki holdings in My Onmyouji or Fuse, so after minting there isn’t much I can actually do at the moment.

I think prediction markets would pair well with this type of game.

Hi @you425
Thanks for testing the dApp.

In the latest deployed version, a configuration issue on the UI side caused problems with some features. I understand that this may have impacted the user experience, sorry for that.

Thanks!

This can be implemented with additional development. I can migrate the existing collection to a new version that is compatible with the game, if the community wish it. I agree with you, this could also help stimulate the secondary market, making it more valuable for the network overall.

My bad, there was a configuration issue. Please could you try again?
