Dear Community,
A particularly noteworthy aspect of this quarter is the ambassador’s strong presence at three major external events, each of which significantly contributed to increasing Astar’s visibility. Through presentations, judging activities, and direct community engagement, these events provided valuable opportunities to introduce Astar to diverse audiences ranging from open‑source engineers to enterprise professionals.
Summary
Key highlights of the contributions include:
- Governance & Engagement: tksarah was highly active in the Astar Forum and community voting, maintaining a 50.9% participation rate on Subsquare and approximately 100% on Opensquare.
- Developer Support: A primary focus was the management of the Astar Peers Program, which included coordinating the deployment of archive nodes globally, distributing rewards to operators, and conducting recruitment for Season 3.
- Content & Social Media: The ambassador produced 7 articles (including tutorials and translations) and achieved approximately 95,000 social media impressions across the quarter.
- Event Outreach: Astar’s visibility was significantly boosted through three major events:
- Open Source Conference 2026 Tokyo/Spring: Delivered a deep-dive presentation on Astar and exhibited an archive node running on a Raspberry Pi.
- NEMTUS Hackathon 2026: Served as a judge for projects building on Astar and Soneium.
- LPI-Japan Summit 2026: Introduced Astar to over 200 enterprise professionals within the open-source software community.
- Technical Operations: Continued the uninterrupted operation of a Shiden node since October 2025.
Future plans include improving archive node monitoring efficiency through AI-based systems and developing a portal site to aggregate information for Astar, Soneium, and the upcoming Strium.
