There is a way to communicate with the team, it would be very good to give them a right of reply and to expose their point of view so that everything can be solved in the best way.
I tweeted about this and tagged their team, no response either: x.com
I think we should definitely go for the vote and let the community decide!
Personally, I think it would make the most sense to utilize the Astar Governance sub-treasury proposed previously by hoon to form an oversight committee.
However, currently there is no mechanism in place yet, so the community needs to act in good faith. This is difficultā¦
For me it is more than enough to be eligible for the delist. Keep in mind delisting doesnāt mean failure of the dApp , whoever likes and want to use Astar Exchange are free to do so but not having an answer in 2+ weeks is not a good sign.
Actually I wont wrote the thread here if their dApps is working, but since opening their website and see the red warning page on google chrome, added with no activity on their social media, that make me worried.
Also their position on Tier3 with ~39M of ASTR, those ASTR better staked to other project / dapp
I think as you said before we should do an activity check for most dApps. If the team is not active, I might prefer to see them delisted. What is the point of having a project not active? No one expects to receive notifications or updates daily but disappearing for months is excessive = no interest in building on Astar imo.
This idea is great, I really agree with it. As Astar governance structures evolve, Iād like to continue discussing this matter as well.
I recall they said they delivered the Exchange and thatās all.
I would like to check the tx numbers, users and product stats but it seems the team never show up again.
Well there should be a deadline to when a team should respond, as it gets it reward through people staking on there dApp. And if they do not answer in this time, they should be delisted.
No response at all from Astar Exchange for close to a month, perhaps it is better to consider proposing a vote so that the dev rewards can be used for where those should be.
@Gaius_sama we should establish something if a team does not deliver anything new for a long time and does not respond after a while, a delisting proposal should be initialized.
I think we spended more the enough time waiting for any sort of reply , we should start the delisting process
Iām not sure if Iāve missed anything? Regarding the response in cases that fall under delisting criteria, Iām not sure if we have anything clearly specified? If we have specified cases, and it falls under those criteria, I think considering delisting should be something we should start to consider.
Letās start voting in Townhall!
A proposal should be created and then we can start voting on Astar Town Hall
I agree, if there is no response from the team on any channel (discord, X and Astar Forum), we should create a proposal to delist the dApp here before voting on Astar Townhall
Someone has to take the lead on this. @souleater as you have created this thread, would you create the vote on townhall?
Already ready to vote! But before moving on, as far as we know, there is no response at all from Astar Exchange?
I agree with @Sequaja. @souleater it would be great if you would create the entry in Townhall, so we can start the voting process and have a decision before the next voting period.
Apparently they are no longer reachable.
We should start voting and say goodbye!!
