Creating a mechanism to sustainably provide the network’s native token as liquidity rewards, the case of Astar and QuickSwap should be the first! It would be great reference the instance where Camelot utilized ARB rewards garnered through STIP, etc., for liquidity.

With the introduction of AggLayer, will the liquidity within Polygon POS and zkEVM be integrated with that of Astar in Quickswap?

If so, will ASTR rewards also flow into Polygon’s liquidity?

Great questions!

  1. This is still in the works but ideally user acquisition on-chain campaigns with leading quest platforms (TBD), LP mining rewards, and exploring some other avenues. From a timeline perspective, the goal is to kick things off as soon as possible after mainnet launch but this is still TBD

  2. Being discussed, it may be a longer-term campaign that could be promoted to users directly via the platform and/or via a third-party quest platform for a campaign - still TBD

great question! This will depend on the Polygon tech and how seamless it all is. Their vision is for these chains to have unified liquidity. Users can use an individual chain if they see fit but will have access to the whole Polygon ecosystem of chains if desired.

So to answer your question, ideally yes and more information will become available.

QuickSwap has a great track record and history in crypto. It will be very beneficial for Astar to have a blue-chip DeFi project that can generate more confidence for the end-users. Do you know how many pools will be incentivized for the liquidity mining?
