I voted yes without a minute’s hesitation. I think Subwallet has accomplished important tasks. Thank you for your support up to this day.
Voted yes. Have been using subwallet for a while and really like the breakdown of the usage of the rewards! Hope to see some transparent reports on achivements you do for the astar ecosystem in the future!
It´s nice to see SubWallet team join Astar Dapp Staking , voted YES
Thank you for your continuous and dedicated support from the early stage of this network.
As we move into this year, I feel an increasing number of new users entering as on-chain players, and discussions about which Astar wallet to use seem to be a regular topic in the community I am part of. I think users who entered through zkEVM might feel quite resistant to using wallets other than MetaMask.
-
Is there a specific reason a zkEVM-only user should use Subwallet?
-
For users of both Astar parachain and zkEVM, why should they use Subwallet among wallets that support both networks?
If you could answer these questions regarding clear superiority or financial incentives, it will help me produce much legitimate discussion about which wallet I can suggest for the community : )
Voted aye! Let’s goooo
Hello bro. Thank you very much for your questions. I would like to answer the both questions as below:
As stated in our proposal, SubWallet added support for Astar Substrate, Astar EVM since the early days. We will also add support for Astar zkEVM when it’s live with a very simple UI/UX on all platforms (SubWallet Browser Extension, SubWallet Mobile App, SubWallet WebApp) and users can easily sync their accounts on all platforms within a few seconds without having to type their seed phrases multiple times.
As we strongly believe in the multichain future, and I believe Astar community also does, I don’t think users will ONLY use Astar zkEVM in the long term. We should think about ways to onboard users from other ecosystems to Astar zkEVM chain and make it super simple for users to experience multichain. SubWallet is the comprehensive gateway for that. We’ve been engaging closely with the community and I’d say one of their big pain points is that they have to download and use a new wallet when entering a new ecosystem.
SubWallet supports both Substrate and EVM (150+ networks and counting), including all Polkadot parachains, solochains, all popular EVM chains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, etc. It means users can enjoy a comprehensive solution, on all platforms, on the go.
I hope it makes sense. Happy to answer any follow up questions you may have.
Let’s continue to contribute to the development of Astar and Web3.
Best,
Ryan
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for your polite response. I have witnessed your vision and diligent efforts, and I hold great respect for them.
One of the challenges in the UI for a multi-chain wallet is the overwhelming number of choices due to the support for many chains. While this offers a high degree of freedom, it can also lead to confusion and take time for users to find what they need. I believe that aiming for a wallet that is easy to use for everyone, including those with low crypto, web3, and IT literacy, will make everyone happier and bring us closer to mass adoption.
I continue to support you!
I am very happy to see that the proposal to include SubWallet has been approved. I am very much looking forward to staking on the dApp soon! Congratulations @ryandinh8

@ryandinh8 don’t forget to make announcement especially on your telegram group, as I saw a lot of people holding (and staking) ASTR.
Very important this communicative collaboration between both brands, thanks for mentioning it, Rudy!
I noticed that the SubWallet Team will be participating as a Silver Sponsor in the TEAMZ(https://web3.teamz.co.jp/ event taking place in Tokyo, Japan next month. I am looking forward to communicating at the event
By the way, Astar Network is a co-HOST sponsor of this event, and Polkadot is a Diamond Sponsor.
That’s great!! I’m going to participate in the event.
I’m looking forward to meeting Subwallet team!!
Great news! Also glad to see that big ecosystem teams are sponsoring the hackathon, sad I can’t be in Japan to participate
