Using Block Reward for Common Goods

I think this idea is a perfect fit with the Astar community program.

  • Activities that can be rewarded
  • The governance process of how to accept/deny proposals
  • Maximum SDN amount for each activity

These are almost covered in the program. Let’s align with the community program.

I cannot image how the rewards will be distributed among the valid submissions.
But I think it is not a good idea to consume all the rewards. The rewards should be accumulated for next round if no enough valid submissions.
For example, A1 reward is 1–10. If there is only 1 valid submission, the rewards should not be spent all (10SDN)

Great idea, I would suggest to add participation or organization of events (physical and digital) like ETHCC, (DOTCC ? :sunglasses:), Polkadot Decoded to the section A4 | Organize a meetup about Astar / Shiden. e.g., Zoom meeting, AMA

For C2 | Community Management, I don’t know how the rewards will be calculated but they should be proportional to the seniority of the ambassador. We could use a ratio like x0,5 < 3 months, x1 <6 months, x1.5 <12 months etc.

A mascot would be so cool ! We could do a lot of stickers for telegram users.
