I’ve been testing wASTR with CCIP lately.. (Using the d8a platform)
Today I thought I would test some unwrapping.
So I find the unwrapper on the portal (which links to arthswap):
But it says I don’t have any wASTR..
So I check the code and it turns out that Chainlink uses a different version of wASTR:
0x37795FdD8C165CaB4D6c05771D564d80439CD093
(Total supply: 340,427,192)
Coingecko and arthswap shows wASTR as:
0xaeaaf0e2c81af264101b9129c00f4440ccf0f720
(Total supply: 35,144,697)
I’m not really sure what the best solution going forward is but this can create a lot of confusion for dapp developers and users..
So I think a simplification is needed..
My suggestion is to reach out to both wASTR projects and see if one will make a change..
