Overview

GM GM, Dear Astar Community, it’s a pleasure to be here. I’m Soho, Co-founder & CEO of Happ3n XYZ. We would like to apply for the Unstoppable Community Grant, requesting community support to continue strengthening our project and expanding our horizons.

Our plan is to expand and consolidate our project. Happ3n is more than just a event platform; it connects people and transforms communities within blockchain technology and Web3 events. With Astar’s support, we can enhance our SocialFi and GameFi features, creating a dynamic ecosystem for genuine interactions. This partnership empowers us to deliver more impactful, engaging experiences, driving both adoption and value within the Web3 community.

Background of Happ3n XYZ

Happ3n was founded in April 2023, gaining recognition and growth through innovative initiatives such as our podcast, support for artists with online and IRL digital art exhibitions, creative contests, and partnerships with various Web3 communities in LATAM, along with collaborations with communities, creators, projects, and prominent artists in the Web3 space.

Astar and Happ3n have a history that began at the Frutal hackathon, which had a significant impact on us—a key event where talents joined forces, and new ideas emerged. In this hackathon, we stood out and won the Astar track, a milestone that solidified our synergy and demonstrated the potential of both projects working together. This achievement marks an essential step, signifying the beginning of a collaboration focused on strengthening the Web3 ecosystem and driving both teams toward new frontiers in innovation and technological development.

Value Proposition

Our proposal’s goal is to continue driving the adoption of our platform while adopting Astar’s technology initially, with plans to later integrate Soneium. Happ3n has positioned itself as the bridge to enter Web3 in an organized way and stay informed on events. We know that one of the main barriers to Web3 is the diversity of communication channels like Telegram, Discord, X, and WhatsApp. Happ3n was born in Q2 2023, bringing solutions to the ecosystem and connecting with communities and creators in a trustworthy and quick manner. We have been evolving Happ3n as a social tool for everyone to interact with Web3, planning to expand in version 2 to include a significant SocialFi and GameFi component.

Happ3n Impact

We have grown organically, driven by our potential to become a powerful social tool for anyone wishing to interact and connect in the Web3 world. We’ve worked on making Happ3n a platform where interactions are not only meaningful but also rewarding. This vision has inspired the development of Happ3n V2, where we will integrate SocialFi and GameFi (where Astar plays a key role) to further enhance connection and participation.

The inclusion of SocialFi will allow users to gain real benefits from their interactions and contributions to the community, while GameFi adds a layer of gamification, creating a fun and dynamic experience that rewards engagement and commitment. With this evolution, Happ3n facilitates connections and fosters an active, vibrant community, making every genuine interaction an opportunity for growth and reward.

In blockchain, it’s essential to foster community participation and create new opportunities for Web3 users. Our approach includes creating interactive experiences online and at IRL events, forming a perfect circle where events, communities, rewards, collaborators, platforms, dApps, partners, blockchain, and many others can converge in harmony toward a more collaborative, inclusive, and prosperous ecosystem, where every creator and participant can grow, contribute, and create shared value.

Our mission is to open doors to understanding and accessing Web3, connecting those who seek to build and grow this ecosystem together in a human and collaborative way.

Roadmap (UCG Commitment)

The proposal will begin to be implemented once our entry into the UCG program has been approved.

Month 1

• Preparation and optimization of Astar documentation.

• Integration of Astar into the Happ3n access wallet.

• Create content (Video & Writing) about Astar.

• Review and audit security measures.

Month 2-3

• Creation of Smart Contracts in Astar for GameFi.

• V2.1 Happ3n improvements: transaction testing and integration.

• NFT Rewards process on Astar network for user engagement and retention, as well as Astar usability.

• Astar Brand Awareness - creating visual content and online events to engage our growing audience.

Month 3-4

• Implementation of Smart Contracts for Happ3n gamification based on user engagement.

• NFT checkout for advanced events via in-app extra features.

• NFT verification tool for IRL events.

• Create content (Video & Writing) about Astar Staking.

Month 4

• Airdrop for active users and communities with a minimum 6-month Astar staking commitment.

• Staking rewards as part of the GameFi system: Collaboration with Neemo to create a circular economy that incentivizes users to stake on their platform.

• New features in this Happ3n version.

• Educational content creation about staking in Astar (video and writing).

• Additional enhancements to amplify Astar’s presence and adoption.

Extras

In addition to being an Events Directory, Happ3n extends to our Happ3n Magazine, where we’ll create weekly content (video and writing) about Astar in Spanish, aiming to reach more people with accessible content. We also have our podcast to amplify information about Astar.

We have faced many challenges since founding Happ3n, but our perseverance, discipline, and community support have driven us forward. We are committed to continuing to develop experiences that strengthen events within the ecosystem and encourage technology adoption. I was aware from your previous postings that you guys are implementing an on-chain proof system. However, looking at the current proposal, there is a notation for V2, and with it, more wording for Game-Fi and Social-Fi.

Can you please elaborate on V2?

We will employ several creative and specific strategies to attract new users and encourage their continued participation in the platform. But to mention a few that we will bring, we will implement a social gamification system that rewards creators and consumers for their interactions, using a leaderboard and rewards in Astar tokens. In addition, we will provide comprehensive marketing that will include content on Happ3n Mag, posts on Twitter and episodes on our podcast, aimed especially at the Spanish-speaking market to attract a wider audience and of course, make them aware of the benefits of Astar.

We will also focus on creating an experience in this V2 within our platform so that all of this is intuitive for the user. In this way, we will seek to make it easy and motivating for new users to interact and explore the platform. We will also promote events and collaborations that strengthen connections in the community and, at the same time, generate attractive content that motivates users to return and actively participate.

The implementation of SocialFi and GameFi will be geared towards enriching the interaction between users and rewarding them for their participation. With SocialFi, users will be able to build reputation and earn tokens as they interact, share content and connect on the platform, encouraging constant participation and a sense of community. GameFi, will introduce gaming elements such as missions and levels that users can complete to obtain additional rewards, thus increasing motivation and engagement.

The integration of these layers into the blockchain, in collaboration with Astar, guarantees security and transparency in transactions, as well as a decentralized and scalable ecosystem. Astar provides the technology to support these interactions efficiently and securely, allowing us to build a dynamic and visually attractive interaction environment. On a visual level, we will offer an intuitive and attractive interface, designed to capture and maintain the user’s attention, maximizing the experience.

With Astar, we have a solid and futuristic foundation to build and expand SocialFi and GameFi on Happ3n, aligning ourselves with innovation and boosting growth together.

1. At Happ3n, we see this as both a challenge and a huge opportunity. We know that Web2 experiences are deeply rooted, but our goal is to be that bridge where people find events that interest them, showcasing the unique value of Web3. By combining the familiar with the innovative, we aim to gradually blur the line between both worlds, making the transition natural and engaging. By combining familiar Web2 user experiences with Web3 advantages such as transparency, ownership, and decentralization, we can create a hybrid model that is intuitive and rewarding for users.

2. We understand that interest in SocialFi and GameFi can vary, so we don’t rely on that; our focus is on providing real value beyond trends. We design these strategies as tools to deepen the connection between users and communities, not as ends in themselves. We adapt by collaborating with specific niches, educating about the benefits, and creating unique experiences that integrate the best of both worlds. Regarding security and audit measures, we plan to conduct an audit in the first month to ensure that the integration with Astar is safe and reliable for both sides. Regarding Happ3n events, we have organized and promoted activities with Web3 communities in LATAM, in collaboration with PizzaDAO and Rarible, achieving significant engagement and showing the community’s interest in blockchain. For the UCG program objectives, we aim to achieve sustained growth in active users and create a measurable impact on the adoption of Astar within our community and to make them aware of the benefits of Astar.
