Happ3n XYZ arriving Astar Community

:man_cook:t2: TL;DR

Happ3n is a directory for online or IRL Web3 events that connects people with communities within blockchain technology, offering a dynamic platform, a podcast, a magazine with a social media presence, and experiences related to Web3 events. Use blockchain technology to foster meaningful interactions within the ecosystem. Connecting people with communities on Web3.

:four_leaf_clover: Happ3n XYZ Project Description

Happ3n is a hybrid SocialFi + GameFi platform identifying the necessity to organize the chaos of events and content related to Web3 that emerged daily between platforms such as X, WhatsApp, Zoom, Telegram, Discord, Twitch, etc. So we saw an opportunity to bring a functional solution for identified users as communities, creators, and enthusiasts to create a scalable business model.

Happ3n provides a safe, streamlined space for event promotion and connection. Users can enjoy and stay informed, while event creators gain valuable metrics about their community audiences and get NFT Art, Rewards, Badges, and premium features.

Our 1.0 version is currently active and launched in Sep 2023 in a first phase to the Spanish-speaking market to validate our idea (MVP) since we faithfully believe that there is continuous unexplored growth in those regions of the world.

Despite the challenges of community incorporation, Happ3n is led by two women as founders and an exceptional team behind it committed to expanding access to Web3 and technology through events related to Web3 and technology. It is a project that we bet will be the way to make a bridge between Web2 and Web3. Bring events to a new wave of people who want to enter Web3 and don’t know where to do it or what communities they can trust.

:lemon: Happ3n Proof of Interaction with Limate

At Happ3n, we believe in a multichain future that brings numerous possibilities to all the communities we are building around blockchain. We believe addons like Limate enrich the ecosystem in many ways, both for events and individuals, all while leveraging innovative technology.

Limate, as an addon to Happ3n, complements this mission by introducing a proof of interaction system. This addon allows users to record and validate the connections they make at Web3 events, both virtual and in real life. Through the issuance of attestations (verifiable proofs) stored on the blockchain, Limate ensures that these interactions are recognized and recorded in a secure, immutable, and transparent way. This allows Happ3n users not only to connect but also to have verifiable proof of their interactions, enhancing authenticity and trust within the ecosystem.

This addon adds value to Happ3n by creating a layer of proof of humanity and genuine connections, aligned with the platform’s vision to strengthen community networks and encourage greater participation in the Web3 space.

Spoiler Alert we won the Astar Track in this hackathon!

:gem: Minato and Happ3n: The Beginning

During our exploration of the potential of Minato for the hackathon, we recognized its unique capabilities to enhance our platform. As a result, we decided to integrate Minato into Happ3n’s functionalities. We successfully deployed the Ethereum Attestation Service on the Minato network and implemented the smart contract within Minato, connecting it to our dApp and users’ wallets. This integration sets the foundation for innovative features that will significantly benefit our community.

We are beginning to implement Minato into the functionalities of Happ3n:

  • We deployed the Ethereum Attestation Service on the Minato network.
  • We implemented the smart contract on Minato and connected it to the dApp and users’ wallets.

:handshake: Happ3n Participation in Astar Hackathon

Here is some of our implementation in this hackathon:

Limate is a proof of interaction system inspired by user experiences at both online and IRL events within the Web3 ecosystem. Its goal is to record and validate the connections that participants make at these events. It utilizes blockchain technology to issue and store attestations (verifiable proofs) that demonstrate interaction between users, serving as proof of humanity and genuine connections. Limate aims to address the issue of the lack of registration and validation of these interactions in real life, among other things.

Steps to our implementation:

  1. Deployment of the EAS contract on Minato.
  2. Implementation of the Smart Contract on Minato.
  3. Connection of the dApp to the wallet on Minato.
  4. Issuance of Attestations from the dApp.
  5. Storage on the Minato Blockchain.
  6. Verification of Attestations from the dApp connected to the wallet.

Deployment of the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) on the Minato Network: The Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS) is a protocol that allows for the issuance, storage, and verification of attestations on the blockchain. Attestations are verifiable statements that can be issued about an entity or event.

Implementation of the Smart Contract on Minato: The smart contract you implemented is a fundamental part that interacts with the logic of the EAS and enables the creation, issuance, or verification of attestations within the Minato network, as well as their validation on the blockchain.

Connection of the dApp to the wallet and the Minato network: To enable users to interact with your dApp, you connected wallets to the Minato network. This allows users to issue or verify attestations directly from their wallets, facilitating interaction with them from their wallets.

Issuance of Attestations from the dApp: Users can generate attestations (proofs of interaction, identity, or achievements) directly from the dApp, which is connected to the wallet on the Minato network. These attestations are digitally signed and linked to the users.

Storage on the Minato Blockchain: Once issued, the attestations are permanently stored on the Minato blockchain, ensuring their immutability and transparency, allowing any user to verify them at any time.

Verification of Attestations from the dApp connected to the wallet: Any user who needs to validate an attestation can do so through the dApp. By connecting their wallet, the dApp interacts with the smart contract on Minato to verify that the attestation is valid and has been issued correctly.

Hi, thank you for the introduction.
We are glad to have you on the forum like this, as many projects just fall away after participating in a hackathon.

I am not familiar with LATAM or applications targeting the Spanish-speaking world, but it is great to see projects like yours that are building and working with the community.
I also think that the contracts that issue verifiable proofs that you implemented in the hackathon are a useful use case for blockchain.

Happ3n is such an exciting project, cool to see such a huge gap in Web3 being event-organized and actually ensure that people interact with each other. Adding the Proof of Interaction with Limate will add in validity and trust, and using Minato for smart contracts is really impressive. That is so amazing to see a platform that clearly has its eyes on community building and inclusivity. Congrats on winning the hackathon!

What is your strategy to go even beyond serving the Spanish-speaking market, and what do you foresee in terms of wider adoption and greater trust across diverse regions?

Happy to see Happ3n in our beloved forum.

Thanks for adding this post to the forum, soho. There is nothing more to add, you have definitely broken down as much information as possible, the only thing I would like to note is that, the whole Happ3n team gave their best in the Astar zkEVM hackathon and that shows me their commitment to the protocol.

LFG!

Our mentality at Happ3n is to build and bring solutions that we would like and that we know can contribute, which is how Limate (The dApp that we built at the hackathon) was born. Also the importance of, as you say, following up on ideas that come out of a hackathon so that those ideas become companies and give security to the team and not be in an infinite pivot of ideas in hackathons, although well Web3 is too big and there is space for everyone. Thank you for this warm welcome.

gm gm @Matt i rlly love this questions you did us. Because actually this is the challenge right now for us make Happ3n goes global and i’ll share some of our perspective that ensures we can get there:

  1. Community-Driven Growth: “Limate was born from the Spanish-speaking community, recognizing its potential and specific needs within Web3. However, our vision is global: we are building an adaptable and scalable system to facilitate human interactions across various contexts and regions, taking steps toward adoption that fosters trust in global communities.”

  2. Decentralization and Accessibility: “We know that accessibility is key to broader adoption. That’s why Limate leverages technologies such as the Ethereum Attestation Service and smart wallets to simplify and secure interactions. This is only the beginning of an approach designed to accommodate different languages and cultures, driving expansion beyond the Spanish-speaking market.”

  3. Interaction Testing in Multiple Languages: “To facilitate global adoption, Limate was created as an interaction-proof system that transcends language barriers. Our priority is to build trust and meaningful connections anywhere, adapting our tools to enable interaction in multiple languages and contexts.”

  4. Collaborating with International Networks: “Regional adoption is just one step; Limate’s global potential also involves strategic alliances across geographies. By integrating into global ecosystems like Base and Minato, we promote interoperability and trust on a global scale, which paves the way for broader adoption and creates decentralized interaction networks.”

With the rapid rise of Web3 culture, principles like community and continuous building ‘keep building’ have become driving forces behind innovation, and Limate is grounded in these values. Also each of these points highlights how Limate’s technology and development enable a natural expansion into other markets, with a core focus on trust and accessibility. As we keep building, these values remain essential in shaping a Web3 future that connects people seamlessly across borders.

Thank you very much for the excellent proposal that provides quite detailed information from various perspectives.

I understand that the project has identified opportunities and therefore combined the concepts of SocialFi and GameFi. However, given the current situation where we often see many projects not succeeding as expected, how does your team perceive the opportunities and challenges from this situation? =)

Well, we know that success is the sum of the work of many efforts, that there is not only one way to get there, we are people who have been working in the technology sector for more than 12 years in LATAM and Europe, both my co-founder and I. We know this path very well, and the best thing we have learned is that resilience is your best weapon to bring projects to reality.

We strongly believe Happ3n brings many solutions in various aspects and can be adapted to different niches in Web3, as you mention in the field of SocialFi and GameFi has a lot to contribute in addition to the fact that a project is maturing and having other focuses.
