[Summary]
50% of casino revenue is provided to dApp stakers.
[Introduction]
Games are one of the important elements in expanding the blockchain ecosystem. Games can also solve the transparency and unfairness of games by using blockchain. The game we propose is a new concept casino game that utilizes the infinite scalability of the metaverse and the transparency and fairness of blockchain. By grafting a new concept game onto Astar, we aim to expand Astar’s ecosystem and create a large axis of economic scale through games.
[Summary]
The games we offer go beyond the level of games offered by other online casinos. Of course, gamers can enjoy casino games, but gamers can convey the value of Astar through communication in the metaverse space between gamer and Astar, and Astar can create a new type of community of gamers to expand Astar’s user base. In addition, Astar can use our games to use various tokens which is used in the ecosystem, as well as Astar for in-game currency, so the Astar network can expand the usability and value of tokens.
Astar, used as a game currency, provides users with the opportunity to earn Astar through fair play rather than through exchange purchases. Other tokens on the Astar network can be used as game currency to provide a way to earn more via gameplay.
When more gamers bring Astar and tokens into the game to enjoy the game, it will naturally have the effect of staking in the game, and to increase its value.
[Expand Astar usage and dApp staking rewards]
HashVegas will allow Astar coins to be used for in-game betting, thereby increasing the usability of Astar coins. And through dApp staking, we plan to provide 50% of the casino revenue generated by Astar customers to dApp stakers.
You can visit Hashvegas homepage below and enjoy now. It is live. Help us to integrate in Astar dApp staking.
I definitely support your announcement that games can be an important element for blockchain expansion, I have seen how this is true in different protocols so, I fully support it.
As someone who likes Poker a lot, I can tell you that it looks really attractive the dynamics you propose, it is a model that for me works without problem.
I also like the idea that you propose to use $ASTR as currency within the game, this is something that of course would increase the adoption of the token.
On a technological level:
what technology do you implement for Randomness?
Do you plan to launch in Astar L1 or Soneium? It was not clear to me which stack you use.
What exactly is VegasLedger Blockchain Platform and how does the node architecture work for this project?
Thanks for reply.
If Astar ecosystem make good use of the game and have the support of the community, you can definitely expand the size of the economy. Among them, casino games can play a very important role to expand the economy.
The answers to your questions are below.
what technology do you implement for Randomness?
→ We use RNG for casino games. Unlike Chainlink’s RNG, we have the technology to provide a RNG tailored to the game. This way, we can show users that there is no manipulation in gambling games and give them confidence.
Do you plan to launch in Astar L1 or Soneium? It was not clear to me which stack you use.
→ When we first start, we plan to use Astar for betting and share revenue through dApp staking. So we will use Astar L1 first. In the future, we would like to discuss expanding the use of L1 and Soneium through cooperation with the Astar foundation.
What exactly is VegasLedger Blockchain Platform and how does the node architecture work for this project?
→ VagasLedger is a blockchain technology that provides RNG to games. It provides technology that provides RNG to various games, not just casino games.
→ Node structure is operated in the form of VegasLedger directly operating the server to provide RNG and receiving compensation. Node governance is operated in the form of DPoS.
Astar’s dApp Staking is for projects that are deployed and running on Astar. Since you are not yet running on Astar, you should first deploy and get your application working.
Please read these guidelines for more information.
If you want assistance before deploying, you can also apply to UCG.
Now that the guidance is over, I have a few questions.
from looking at WP, it seems like you guys have your own chain. Will you not deploy dApp on this chain and run it only for RNG at this time?
also, using ASTR will likely mean less utility for your proprietary tokens, what are your thoughts on this?
Thanks for the detailed explanation of the guidelines and UCG.
The answers to your questions are below.
from looking at WP, it seems like you guys have your own chain. Will you not deploy dApp on this chain and run it only for RNG at this time?
→ What we want to run on our chain is a blockchain-based random number generator (RNG). The chain has not even designed a coin model yet. If the Astar network responds well, we are thinking of distributing our coin, HCOW.
also, using ASTR will likely mean less utility for your proprietary tokens, what are your thoughts on this?
Our coin, HCOW, is a coin to operate the random number generator that obtains the game result. HCOW will not be used for betting purposes. We are thinking of using Astar for betting purposes.
In terms of costs, what details does the team have?
→ We have some funds through the private sale of HCOW that we talked about earlier. If there is interest from Astar network in the future, we are planning to conduct a public sale through Astar.
Where will the project’s revenue come from?
The project’s revenue is distributed to dApp stakers, and the remaining 50% is generated. Some revenue is already generated as the game is being played with USDT.
Thanks for sharing this. It’s interesting to see how HashVegas is aiming to blend metaverse elements with blockchain-based casino gaming. The approach to use Astar as in-game currency and share revenue with dApp stakers could be a unique way to boost engagement and expand the ecosystem. Looking forward to seeing how it develops.
If the number of users and dApp staking in the Astar community increases, we are ready to hold various events.
However, we are looking for a good way to promote the Astar community, but there doesn’t seem to be a good way. I uploaded a forum link to Discord, but there doesn’t seem to be any special response. If you have a good way, please let me know.
Thank you very much for the information. Initially, I understand the project a bit more now. In any case, I’d like to ask for some additional information to supplement my knowledge.
In the case of a gambling-related project, what are the legal considerations or licensing requirements?
As many people know, there are countries where gambling is legal and countries where it is illegal. A license is an authorization to play games in countries where it is legal. However, there are many different types of gambling licenses. In particular, in the UK, you need a license that is permitted in that country to provide services. One of the considerations is cost. In the UK, we know that we have to pay millions of dollars in license operating costs every year.
Thank you for providing me with the technical structure details of your project, I like the fact that you’re using an RNG adapted to your game, this will make the user experience much more fluid and fun, we can translate this into user adoption and comfort (exactly what we’re looking for).
Does this mean that the nodes are not public, correct?
We are setting up a consortium blockchain to provide RNG information and preparing for users to stake and receive rewards. The consortium blockchain is not public, but we are making staking public.
Greetings, good to see you here. I have a few questions for you guys;
How many people do you have?
What do you plan to do with the other part of your revenues?
Are you going to utilize ZK technology in the casino games?
Is the game web based or mobile?
