Dear Astar community! In this proposal, I ask you to consider adding me to the invulnerable nodes of Astar collators.
Introduction and background of your organization or individual operation
My name is Ivan and I’m from DomiNodes, currently a small individual node operator and a longstanding supporter of the DotSama ecosystem and the Astar community in particular since from the Dusty network. For four years now, I have been providing stable operation of the collator nodes in Shiden and Shibuya networks, as well as being a reliable nodes operator in other parachains and not only.
Technical infrastructure details (hardware specifications, data center country, redundancy measures)
To operate my nodes, I use dedicated servers at my own facility with redundant power, duplicated communication channels, 24-hour monitoring and hot reservation in data center. For monitoring systems and quickly resolve issues, I have a distributed service based on the Prometheus+Zabbix+Grafan bunch that monitors the working environment metrics of the servers and blockchain services. For emergency situations there is AletrManager for alerting and PagerDuty on-call channel for notifications.
Shibuya network collator

Moonbeam & Moonriver network collators

Polkadot & Kusama network validators
from 2022 to 2025 (1KV and DN program)
Other parachains collators: Polkadex, SORA, Darwinia, Crab
from 2021 to present
Other networks: SubQuery, Namada
from 2023 to present
Commitment statement explaining your motivation to support Astar Network
Being a longtime node operator, I can definitely say that I will be able to provide stable operation of the collator and bring regional diversity to the Astar network.
Your node’s public address and contact information
Ready for block production
The Astar collator server is already prepared and fully synchronized. If the proposal is approved, the node will be able to produce blocks immediately.
Thank you for your time. If you have any questions or need more information from me, please let me know.
Hello @igoodvvin, thank you for submitting your application to become part of the Astar Collators Invulnerables set.
For context, I’m sharing here the most recent update regarding Astar Collators and their application process within the Astar ecosystem.
Ideally, you should update your original proposal directly in this thread and align it with the points requested here. You will also find the context on what needs to be done once the minimum discussion period ends.
Once again, thank you for creating this proposal, and please feel free to tag me if you need any support from my side!
Hi @Juminstock, thanks for pointing out the updated version of the application process. I have updated my proposal in accordance with the new info, please take a look and let me know if something is missing.
Hello @igoodvvin thank you for your interest in becoming an Astar collator and support the network!
Just a clarification: application to invulnerable collators set is deprecated and probably in the future the invulnerable collators set will be removed completely (or most of it).
Please read carefully the new collator application procedure posted by Carlos, after an initial phase of discussion on forum, in case of positive results, you can proceed with the application on-chain by calling the extrinsic apply_for_candidacy (it replaces the previous register_as_candidate extrinsic) which involve a bond of 3’200’000 ASTR (this amount will remain bonded during the collator operations, until the collator will leave the set). Then is possible to start a referenda for candidate approval (approve_application call).
Thank you again
I will remain available for any questions
Good to see long-time DotSama operators stepping up under the new governance-led collator process. The tooling stack (Prometheus + Zabbix + Grafana + PagerDuty) and redundancy setup is stronger than what we usually see from solo operators, and the regional infra diversity outside EU/US is a plus for Astar’s latency and jurisdiction spread.
Now that invulnerables are being phased out in favor of bond + referendum, sharing some historic performance stats from Shibuya/Shiden (missed blocks, uptime, upgrade handling) could further strengthen the on-chain candidacy.
Hi @Poggi_Luca, thanks for the clarification. I missed the point that the procedure of selection invulnerable collators is deprecated. Well, in this case I ask you to close my proposal etc. as I am not currently able to provide the required amount of bond reserves. Sorry for bothering you guys, my bad that i don’t carefully read this.
