Request to Remove Darkforest (Scytale Digital) Invulnerable Collator Node from Astar

Hello Astar & Shiden community,

We, Darkforest, operating the collator for Scytale Digital, are formally requesting the removal of our invulnerable collator node from the Astar network.

Following an internal review of our infrastructure roadmap, we have elected to consolidate our validator operations. As a result, maintaining an invulnerable collator on Astar no longer aligns with our strategic priorities.

Node to be removed:

  • Astar invulnerable collator address: bTQ9suXXefXMDVWTJuq8Bn7SC468A91EGE6Wv3bu9didXcb

We kindly ask the Astar core team to remove this address from the invulnerable whitelist at the next convenient runtime upgrade.

Commitment to a smooth off‑boarding

Our team is fully committed to cooperating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition that does not impact network stability. We will:

  1. Keep the node online and well‑peered until the removal has been finalized to avoid any gaps in block production.
  2. Provide any required technical information or signatures promptly.
  3. Monitor the network during and after de‑whitelisting to assist should any unforeseen issues arise.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have served the Astar & Shiden communities and look forward to collaborating again in the future. Thank you for your understanding and support as we responsibly wind down our collator operations.

If there are any questions or additional steps required from our side, please let us know.
