I challenge the legitimacy of a vote of 45 out of 10000+ investors and I think you agree all people who locked their Eth should receive their PLM. You seem to be an intelligent and fair minded person so please make the right decision and show great leadership.
If you want a vote that doesn’t allow bots to get involved it’s not difficult. Just have people quote their address that they entered into the lockdrop page alongside their vote and amazingly you get a vote based on actual investors.
I don’t want to argue. I am just hoping for the team to support all its investors. Please just let people claim their PLM before lockdrop 3 and redenomination. This will give positivity to the project and show to everyone that the team supports the whole community. Thanks again.
There is no community support in this topic.
We decide to open another topic regarding issuing SDN tokens to the users who didnt claim PLM:
Does the community include the 700 people affected. Also anything is better than nothing but the team should be strong enough to do the right thing.
Yes, the community include the 700 people affected.
It’s only you active here.
We are doing the right thing to open the discussion about SDN tokens.
Hope to hear your vote there.
I am confused why the team asked me to open this about reopening lockdrop 2 claims only now to be against their own advice to me. This is not very helpful giving people who are trying to do their best the run around and then attacking them. Not what I was expecting.
Correct we did ask you.
But you must feel the same that the community is not supporting this? No one of those ‘700’ affected are here to support this proposal.
I am trying to notify these people. I can only presume they are not aware. That is the whole point of this. I go back to the point of if they are part of the community let them aim the PLM that they locked their Eth to receive
You are making a point: they are not aware!
So they just lockup money without following the project? How they value our ecosystem? Look at this from our point of view:
- We started a voting for the unclaimed because the community asked for this
- We announced this voting and community voted
- We executed the decision from the community
Now some months later 1 person is opening this again after that this is being discussed on all our channels (Discord, Telegram) months ago. I have one question for you, even if you thought you claimed right: did you saw this discussion? Or did you only saw this months later when you saw that you made a mistake?
We work 7 days a week on this project doing our best for the whole community and making this a healthy and successful project in the Polkadot Ecosystem.
Based of the ‘bad UI’ of the lockdrop site that Sota admits I believed I had claimed like possibly all of the others. Being engaged does not mean thinking you are not affected by something. Yes I congratulate the team on having a vote but i challenge how a vote of 45 can be legitimate based on an investor pool of 10000+. Also I challenge why the team would not just support their investors and allow the ones who realise their error of believing a lockdrop site with a’bad UI’ that must be so bad it is being changed for lockdrop 3 and the team are also admitting the process must not have been correct for lockdrop 2 because they are now making the process automatic for claims in lockdrop 3. So as part of this NEW automated process, simply include the lockdrop 2 people to have access to automatically claiming the PLM that they locked their Eth to receive.
People are saying 7% of unclaimed is small and insignificant. So if it is so small and insignificant just allow them to claim their PLM and their small insignificant numbers will have no bearing on others. Thanks again.
We didn’t had any control on that voting. Maybe all the other 99% wasnt interested in the outcome or just didnt care?
We do support our investors, that why we did the poll and opened the issue regarding the SDN tokens for unclaimed users. You cant say we dont support them.
For your next reply share your solution. Where do we need to get those PLM tokens and who will be affected by this? The PLM never got issued and don’t excist, keep this in mind. You dont need to say ‘the same place if the voting turned yes’, when the voting turned out yes, we would look for a solution with the team but we didnt had to use our resources on that because the voting was ‘no’. Look at the token economics on our website.
What would you have done if the poll voted yes. That is what I want to happen. Simple as that. Doesn’t require all this chat about what I think should happen. Anything I propose will just be shot down by the team so I am saying what ever the solution was going to be if the vote was yes should be the solution. A vote of 45 people is not indicative of a community of 10000+ who may not have been aware it was happening and who may now be looking at lockdrop 3 and wondering why they never received the PLM they locked their Eth to receive on a site that had a ‘bad UI’. Stop avoiding the fact that the team obviously had a solution so be a strong team and say we support our community and will issue them the PLM they believed a poor website UI said they WERE receiving and PLM that WAS being sent to their address. Thabks again.
You still don’t answer my questions, you keep repeating the same thing over and over.
Answer my questions and I’m happy to read them. This will be my last reply because of the lack of community support on this proposal.
Diamond answer. Bravo.
Another positive post from someone it doesn’t affect. At least u are engaged with important chat. Thanks guys.
Issuing additional PLM tokens actually affects the lest of the community. If you think it doesn’t, show us the proof by using math. Again, we need numbers and math.
- Where does the additional token come from?
- Who will be hurted? And who can get benefits?
- How technically difficult to do this?
- How your solution affect the decided token economics?
None of them are solved or answered. This is your problem and the person who should think about the solution is not me but you. @Maarten I agree with you. But we need math rather than emotional reasons. If the math doesn’t exist here, we should close this topic since it is meaningless.
Hi Sota, what were u going to do if the vote was yes? I can’t find any info about this so if it is out there I would like to look at it. Cheers.
This is simple. If the vote was yes, I needed to think about the economics. The vote was no, so I don’t have any ideas on the economics now.
