Q2 2025 Contribution Report - Matt/General

This proposal requests retroactive compensation for Matt, a long-standing Astar Ecosystem Agent and Astar Bulletin Director, covering his contributions from April through June 2025.

As the General Agent for Czechia and Slovakia, I actively contributed across five core areas: Community Management, Governance Participation, Social Media Engagement, Content Creation, and Astar Evangelism on Soneium. My work includes managing and growing local communities, creating and translating educational content, supporting governance initiatives, and promoting Astar’s presence on the Soneium Ethereum L2 network.

Summary of Contributions:

  • Community Management: Support community members (specifically, Q&A, advice, psychological care, etc., including handling Discord tickets).
  • Governance & Project Engagement: Governance participation at Astar Forum.
  • Social Media Engagement: Mainly on X to explain and share the latest information on Astar and Soneium. Over 9.5% engagement rate on average + almost 130k impressions.
  • CC: Writing articles about events within Astar and Soneium eco + CZ translations for my local community. Achieving over 8k claps on medium.
  • BD: Casually navigating newcoming projects in Astar and Soneium, connecting them with the team.

According to the Reward Program 2.5 for Ecosystem Agents, the base fee of $800 will be multiplied by the activity evaluation average as a coefficient, and a bonus of $200 will be paid depending on the evaluation. Thus, the maximum reward for this claim is $3000.

  • Requested Amount: ~120,000 ASTR (~$3000)
  • Valuation Basis: ASTR price $0.025 (EMA30 01-07-2025)

Community Report – Update on Matt’s UCG Report Evaluation

We would like to provide full transparency to the community regarding the evaluation process of Matt’s UCG submission.

  • Matt originally submitted his report on July 3rd.
  • The Community Council reviewed the submission on July 20th.
  • During the evaluation, the Council noted that the report did not include information about Matt’s contributions to The Astar Bulletin – a key initiative during the quarter that significantly amplified the visibility of agent content and had an unprecedented level of engagement and consistency.

Although we were fully aware that the work on The Astar Bulletin was carried out diligently and with great impact, it was not documented in the original report.

To ensure fair recognition of the work, Matt updated his submission under the OTHERS category, properly including all activities related to The Astar Bulletin.

  • The Community Council re-evaluated the report on July 23rd based on the updated information.

As a result of this re-evaluation, the final reward amount for Matt has been updated to 81,792 ASTR.

Please create a new Proposal with this reward amount under “Community Treasury Proposals” on Subsquare following the guidelines.

We appreciate Matt’s continued dedication to the ecosystem and thank him for updating the submission to reflect all relevant contributions. The Council remains committed to evaluating all submissions thoroughly and transparently to ensure contributors receive fair recognition for their efforts.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
