Very Long Swap | Staking Airdrop | dApp Staking Proposal

Thanks for the report.

As for dApp Staking, I think it is fine to delist as necessary after carefully monitoring the situation, since there is no impact on staker assets no matter what happens to VLS’s operations.

As for users providing liquidity, I think it is safe to collect if safety is a concern. Since the front end is not released as open source, if it were to be closed, it would be necessary to communicate directly with the contract, which would be more difficult for the average user.

It is possible that one of the founders has obtained a majority of the multisig, and one of the founders has continued to ignore inquiries from the community, and the other is the person who diverted the assets of another project, so it may be safer for users who provided liquidity to remove it.

mmm…does anyone have more in-depth news to try to get more information and understand what’s happening?

100% agree! Thanks for reporting.
We should keep our eyes on it and ask the team for more clear information.

I am waiting for the team response about these reports.

I looked at all the posts on X. As someone who had invested a lot of ASTR and trusted VeryLongSwap in the previous season, this made me sad.

Many of our community members trusted VLS because of what they did in Astar zkEVM and what they promised in Soneium.
I hope this situation is resolved quickly and smoothly, especially for the users.

The incident began when the NFT project called Kunoichi-Gakuen diverted the funds raised through the sale to develop the game described in the roadmap to the development of VLS and the liquidity pool on VLS.

The circumstances are described in the following tweet.
(Unfortunately, there is only an image, so please use a tool such as ChatGPT to translate it.)

【クノイチ学園プロジェクト終了及び返金のご案内】(Notice of the end of the Kunoichi Academy Project and refunds)

The problem is that the two founders of Kunoichi-Gakuen are also the founders of VLS.
takakoji was commissioned to develop the game, but stopped development halfway through without reporting to the community.
Hayatti diverted funds to VLS.

Even after this problem was discovered, takakoji and Hayatti did not respond to questions from both the Kunoichi and VLS communities, and other team members handled the response.

And while the two founders were fighting, the key figures behind the development of VLS and the community management both left the team at the end of October.

Now imagine if VLS had official Astar ambassadors working for them and users lost money (i hope this is not the case here)…reputational damage for Astar and by association Sony

Taka is also informed about the topics discussed here. I believe he will share information with us later on.

Thanks for your explanation

Very good, let us know as soon as possible  I think that is better to get more info possible with this specific situation

I’m not sure if the team is currently busy with something or not. If it’s convenient, it would be great if you could provide an update on the current situation. At this point, I have a lot of information from various perspectives, so it would be very helpful if the team could provide some additional updates. Or if there are any areas where you need assistance, please let me know as well. =)

Yesterday, there was an announcement regarding this matter on the VLS Discord server.

I’ve asked the member who made the announcement to provide an explanation on the Forum as well.

yesterday ( november 9 ) on the announcement of VLS discord:

To All Users,

As of today, we are still unable to contact our founder, Mr. Takakoji.
Additionally, we are unable to manage our social media accounts.
Under these circumstances, we believe it is impossible to continue operating VeryLongSwap.
Given the upcoming migration of the AstarZKEVM chain itself, we would like to proceed with returning users’ assets and other necessary procedures.

< AMM Liquidity >
Regarding assets provided as liquidity in the AMM, even administrators cannot withdraw these funds.
While we plan to maintain the site until the end of the AstarZKEVM chain, we request all users to remove their liquidity as soon as possible.

< Simple Staking >
We will process the return of assets that are single-staked in VLS.
Once user asset returns are completed, we will close the Simple staking function and return all remaining assets to the wallets that originally deposited them.
We will announce the date for the return process separately.
However, we strongly encourage users to withdraw their assets themselves if possible.

< IDO >
There are still unclaimed assets from past IDOs of BonsaiCoin and Neurolanche.
Once preparations are complete, we will withdraw these remaining assets and return them to the depositing wallets.

< Minato testnet Website >
This website will be closed as of November 15th.

< VeryLongSwap Website >
Since users need to withdraw their liquidity, we will continue operating the VeryLongSwap website until the AstarZKEVM chain closes.

< Very Long Perp >
As this is a function provided by OrderlyNetwork, VLS cannot process any asset withdrawals.
Users must withdraw their assets themselves.
The site closure date is yet to be determined.

< Points >
We will freeze the distribution of VeryLongSwap points.
While there might be possibilities for VeryLongSwap’s future (such as operational transfer), we regrettably cannot make any guarantees at this time.

< Dapps Staking >
Regarding Dapps Staking, we will discuss with Astar Network about the possibility of returning staked Astar tokens to users after the voting period ends, along with our Dapp Staking page closure and other procedures.

Finally, I personally feel very frustrated about having to make this decision.
VeryLongSwap has been operating since the launch of the AstarZKEVM chain, and we have added various features beyond AMM, including IDO and Perp.
It is particularly disappointing to make this announcement when the Soneium chain is about to launch and further excitement in the Astar ecosystem is expected.

Thank you for the information. This should help us have a clearer picture. Additionally, I’m not sure if the team has any plans to migrate to Soneium? If so, what are the details? =)

Thank you for the update and transparency during this challenging time. We appreciate your efforts in ensuring a smooth process for users to retrieve their assets! Good luck in the future!

Thank you for this update and transparency.
All Astar agents will be communicating with their local community to make this as smooth as possible.
Please continue to communicate and be transparent during this challenging time. Thank you in advance.

By any chance, do you know if he was involved in other projects?

Thanks for letting me know, I hope everything goes well.

Thank you for the information.

Reading this post, I get the impression that the difficulty in running VLS was caused by your inability to get in touch with Takakoji, but it all started when you and Takakoji abandoned another project that you were running, and the sales deposited by the users of that project were used to pay for the community’s You abandoned another project that you and Takakoji were running, and misappropriated or embezzled the proceeds from the users of that project as your personal assets without obtaining the approval of the community.

I see this as a problem that is not only limited to the VLS project, but also damages the Astar community as a whole and the value of the SONY brand.

How do you plan to regain the trust you have lost?
