Thank you for your patience. Please wait a little longer, we’re about to announce the benefits and next steps for the VLS community and stakers.
Thank you for letting us know the situation.
However, from reading the posts of the official ambassadors, it seems to me that what the Astar community is looking for is transparency, not benefits.
It is not okay to turn a blind eye to uncertainties if there is a benefit to the staker and the community.
If YEET takes over VLS without a firm demonstration of transparency to the community, then that uncertainties will follow the YEET project around.
I appreciate your concerns regarding transparency, but I must clarify: at no point have I withheld any information. The proposal is still being finalized, so I encourage everyone to be patient and allow the process to unfold.
It’s also important to acknowledge the supporters of VLS and consider what we can offer them moving forward. Let’s focus on productive discussions that benefit the community as a whole rather than drawing conclusions prematurely.
I am not referring to your transparency, but the transparency of the VLS project and in particular the actions of the two founders in the past.
If we pretend that the wrongdoings of the past never happened in the name of the benefit of the community, I believe that this will be a great disadvantage to the entire Astar ecosystem.
Better late than no response at all… It saddens me to see that more and more projects are misleading the community and abandoning their roadmaps. It’s well-known that 95% of crypto projects will fail, and in the end, the code doesn’t matter, the product doesn’t matter, because we are placing our trust in people… and people are not always as genuine as they seem.
I believe delisting the project is the most appropriate course of action for the good of the Astar community. If the project takes a new direction, presents new justifications and milestones, it can reapply.
A project that loses its community will hardly regain its trust. I’m sorry, but this seems to be another such case… I hope things work out and wish them luck.
IMO, the next step is to initiate a vote so the community can decide on delisting ASAP.
After much consideration and observing the feedback from the community, we have decided not to proceed with taking over the VLS project.
Our primary objective has always been to bring value to the Astar ecosystem and to build applications that benefit the community. However, it has become evident that there are misunderstandings and negative narratives forming around NEET, which seem aimed at undermining our efforts rather than fostering collaboration.
We remain committed to our goals and will continue to work towards delivering innovative solutions within the ecosystem. We hope the community will judge us based on our actions and the value we create moving forward.
@Satoshi thanks for sharing this update.
Appreciate your transparent messaging.
Strong together!
The whole process is very complex and complicated.
Maybe it can be continued with a new brand face. I don’t know and I hope that the process will be in line with the expectations of the society…
VLS remains a DEX with over $160K in TVL and $666K in trading volume. As we transition from AstarZKEVM to Soneium, developing a migration plan and an essential migration tool will be crucial to ensure a smooth process. With NEET, we are fully committed to making this transition a success.
We have already launched the initial version of the NEET DEX and plan to migrate the VLS LP to NEET DEX once Soneium goes live on the mainnet.
In addition, we are actively working on new features that will enhance transaction engagement, providing an even more seamless and efficient experience for users.
For more details, visit: https://dex.NEET.gg
We look forward to continuing our collaboration to advance both the Astar and Soneium ecosystems.
Hi @Satoshi, sorry for the question but I probably missed some steps, I apologize if you have to repeat something.
From what I understood you had abandoned the idea of taking over the VLS project (for very understandable reasons). However, from your last post I read that there is still an opening idea of absorbing VLS in the transition from Astar ZK to Soneium. Did I misunderstand?
Yes, we are in the process of merging the VLS community with NEET, and we will share more details at the right time. We deeply value the contributions, engagement, and commitment that the VLS community has shown, and our primary goal is to ensure its long-term success. By offering something truly valuable, we aim to create a stronger ecosystem that benefits everyone involved. We believe this integration will foster significant growth and innovation, aligning with our shared vision for the future, and we are dedicated to making this a positive and rewarding experience for all.
@Satoshi I am very happy to hear this from you. You are working really well and I think bringing the VLS community into your project is the right move, both for you and for the entire VLS community. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait for more updates
Based on this and what I have read above. May I know your stance towards delisting VLS to clean out dApp Staking further knowing that VLS now has been abanded to further do development or marketing.
The VLS community is currently completely neglected, with no announcement about integrating it with the NEET community, and even scam links are not being removed.
If you are planning to merge the communities, please share the information with the members of the existing VLS community.
If you join the NEET project’s discord, you can see that Hayatti(payao), one of the founders of VLS and the person who diverted funds from other projects without permission, has joined the team.
The NEET team has stated on the forum that they will not take over VLS, but in reality they have taken over, and from the VLS side, it can be said that they have stolen the project’s development assets.
I find this extremely troubling and certainly in the public interest for all of us as an Astar community.
If you can bring hard evidence to this forum it would be of great help, @pnizo, as we will then have sufficient substantiation to make accurate decisions on the matter.
On the other hand, @Satoshi, what is the current status of this migration process you mention? How can we verify this information? Could you have someone from the NEET team corroborate this information?
This should be addressed urgently.
Hey @AstarHood, hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
I’d recommend waiting until the end of this season, as @hayatti is actively working on developing a tool to migrate funds from Astar zkEVM to NEET DEX on Soneium, among other tasks. He is currently the main developer working on NEET DEX testnet on Soneium. His hard work deserves recognition and fair compensation. Delisting VLS prematurely might not only overlook this progress but also miss the potential value this initiative could bring to the ecosystem.
hey @Juminstock
Thank you for bringing up these concerns! I understand the need for clarity, and I want to assure you that developing a DEX is a complex process that requires careful planning and execution. Our NEET DEX isn’t just a standard decentralized exchange, it’s being built with advanced features like Hooks to unlock unparalleled customization and innovation.
Here’s a quick overview of what we’re working on:
• Hooks: Enhance liquidity pool functionality with smart contracts. This allows dynamic fees, on-chain limit orders, custom oracles, and more—empowering users to tailor liquidity pools for specific needs.
• Customized Pool Types: A modular design that supports multiple pool types and sustainable AMM logic. We’re launching with CLAMM pools featuring Hooks and the first-ever liquidity book AMM.
• Singleton: This consolidates all pools into a single smart contract, reducing gas costs by 99% for new pools and optimizing multi-hop transactions.
• Flash Accounting: Optimizes gas usage by settling net balances collectively, resulting in significant gas savings.
• Donate Method: A seamless way to directly pay in-range LPs using the pool’s fee accounting system.
These features ensure that our DEX will provide users with cutting-edge tools and exceptional efficiency. Once the NEET DEX is live on the Soneium Mainnet, we’ll be fully equipped to proceed with the migration.
It would be great if you can ask @hayatti to explain more about the process in the forum. Because of no communiation happening for the VLS community
This is also not the best situation to promote dApp Staking. Because of your transparancy here in the forum, i trust your advice. I do think there are more urgent projects that needs to be delisted than VLS in current phase.
