After much reflection, I have decided to step down from my position on the Astar Community Council, effective July 7, 2025.
Since being elected to the Astar Community Council in January 2025, I’ve done my best to contribute meaningfully. Whether by proposing the removal of inactive dApps, engaging in proposal discussions, or advocating for decisions that put Astar and its community first. However, in recent months, I’ve found myself unable to dedicate the time and attention this role truly deserves. My current level of inactivity is not fair to the other council members or the community that entrusted me with this responsibility. For that reason, I believe stepping down is the most responsible course of action.
In the spirit of accountability, I will also be returning the Q2 2025 council compensation to the on-chain treasury. This decision reflects my belief that council roles should be actively earned and maintained through ongoing contribution and presence.
Although I’m stepping away from the council, my support for Astar and its users remains unwavering. I look forward to continuing as an active community member in a more flexible capacity and will always advocate for the growth and decentralization of the ecosystem.
