Stepping Down from the Astar Community Council

Hello Astar community,

After careful consideration, I have decided to step down from my role as a member of the Astar Community Council.

I joined the Council in August 2025, and since then it has been a meaningful and enriching experience to contribute during such an important phase for Astar. Over these months, I’ve been involved in governance discussions, community-facing communications, and internal coordination efforts aimed at improving clarity, structure, and alignment across ACC activities.

Working alongside such a committed and collaborative team has been one of the most valuable aspects of this journey, both professionally and personally.

Recently, my main professional activities have become significantly more demanding, and I’m no longer able to dedicate the time and attention that this role requires.

For this reason, I believe that stepping down is the most responsible decision at this stage, ensuring that the Council continues to operate with full commitment and consistency.

I would like to sincerely thank all the members of the @Community_Council and the broader Astar community for the trust, collaboration, and shared work throughout these months.

I will remain involved in the ecosystem as an Ambassador, continuing to support Astar in a more flexible capacity.

I am confident that the Council will continue to play a key role in supporting the ecosystem’s growth and evolution.

Hi Simo, I’m sorry that your contribution to the council is ending so soon, but I’m glad that the reasons, from what I understand, are due to a greater workload in your “real” life. I’m sure your contribution will still be valuable to the cause and that you’ll continue to carry it out in the best possible way. Good luck!
