I am very much in favor of @Juminstock running for ACC, but regarding the vacant seat this time, will there be no restrictions on the number of seats per segment as there were in the first round?

If this limitation applies only to the initial setup and is not required for replacements like this time, then I believe there is no issue.

Hi @you425

Thanks for bringing this up, it’s a valid question. The original setup was designed to maintain a fair balance between the different groups of Astar members.

Right now, the priority is to fill the seat left by Astarhood’s departure, so we haven’t set any specific requirements regarding the affiliation of applicants. The goal is simply to ensure the seat doesn’t remain vacant.

If multiple members apply for this position, we can revisit the discussion to maintain the balance as originally planned. At the moment, only one person has applied, so we’ll see if this becomes relevant or not.

I hope this approach works for the community. If not, I encourage the community to share their thoughts on the matter.

I see, I understand.
Personally, I think it’s fine for @Juminstock to participate if there are no other candidates.

Thank you @AstarHood for your great work and contributions to the Astar ecosystem. Wishing you the best moving forward.

I also hope more candidates apply — it would be good to see more than the two we have so far.

I support your point that having more applicants would be very beneficial. I recall seeing @Satoshi’s application during the first selection round; I’d like to review it again.
