Tell us what was the most excited thing when you are doing an IRL event within Astar Community?
It was an incredible experience in so many ways! Before my speech, I had engaging conversations with attendees, delving into their backgrounds and experiences within the realms of Polkadot and Astar. What struck me was the attendees’ familiarity with multiple protocols, sparking my hope to entice them to explore Astar as well. To add to the excitement, one of the attendees happened to be one of the most influential crypto figures, a real trailblazer in the field in our country.
During my session, I fielded some fascinating questions, particularly about the technical aspects like the WASM side, Japan’s adoption, and, notably, why Polygon and what will AstarzkEVM bring to us.
The highlight, though, was the free-flowing discussion where we collectively shared our expertise in web3 and various chains. I took the opportunity to showcase Astar, drawing comparisons to the chains they were accustomed to and highlighting our strengths, while also seeking their direct user feedback on how we could further improve.
Overall, it was an enriching experience that allowed for insightful discussions and the chance to showcase Astar’s unique strengths in a vibrant ecosystem of diverse protocols and technologies.

I think thats a good idea to get new people integrated in the community. I enjoyed your report on the event. I think we every meetup should have some pictures and report to it so its transparent what was discussed and done in the meetup.
I really like this kind of initiatives. Thanks Matt for your effort sharing about Astar in your city, we need more of this.
