GM Astar community! ![]()
As Q4 2025 comes to a close, the Astar Community Council is pleased to share an update on our activities, deliverables, and progress over the past quarter.
Throughout Q4, the ACC continued to focus on transparency, accountability, and the continuous improvement of governance processes supporting the Astar ecosystem.
Highlights from Q4
-
Delisting Parameters Documentation
The Council finalized and worked on documentation defining clearer delisting parameters for dApp Staking, strengthening the evaluation framework and ensuring higher standards for projects participating in the program. -
Optimization of UCG Slot Allocation
The ACC optimized the number of slots dedicated to the UCG program, freeing up a portion of ASTR to increase flexibility and expand the scope of funding available for broader community initiatives. -
Agents Tips Evaluation Improvements
Internal evaluation parameters were updated to better assess on-chain activity in Agents Tips reports, improving consistency and accuracy in the review process. -
UCG Monitoring System Enhancement
A new tracking table was introduced to monitor dApps under the UCG program, providing clearer visibility on deadlines and monthly reporting status. This system is integrated with reminders set on the ACC shared calendar to ensure continuous alignment with reporting deadlines.

UCG Deadline Reminders & Alerts
The Council actively sent reminders to UCG-supported dApps ahead of reporting deadlines and issued alerts in cases where deadlines were not respected. -
Public UCG Documentation Update
The public UCG documentation was updated and expanded. Official Community Treasury wallet links were refreshed, and the documentation was fully restructured to reflect updated processes and workflows that had become outdated. -
AAF (Astar Ambassador Fellowship) Documentation Review
The ACC revised and optimized public documentation related to the Astar Ambassador Fellowship, improving clarity and alignment with the evolving program structure. -
AAF Program Structure Preparation
The foundational structure of the AAF program was prepared, including task definitions, identification of critical points, point assignment systems, and role-based evaluation ranges. This work was initiated in Q4 and is still ongoing. -
Ongoing dApp Staking Review & Monthly Delistings
The Council continued its regular review of dApps in the dApp Staking program, performing monthly delistings of approximately 5–7 inactive or low-value projects to ensure the program remains focused on initiatives that bring real value to users and the ecosystem. -
Core dApps Delisting Strategy (Ongoing)
Work began on structuring a delisting plan for Core dApps (Core Contributors & Community Treasury), including the strategy for reallocating the freed ASTR after delisting. This process started in Q4 and is still ongoing. -
Community Treasury Funds Monitoring Document The Council created a dedicated tracking document to monitor Community Treasury funds in a structured and transparent way. The document consolidates all outgoing transactions, reward claims, and Treasury movements, providing a clear and continuously updated overview of how Community Treasury funds are managed over time. This initiative strengthens transparency, improves internal oversight, and allows both the Council and the broader community to better track the sustainability and allocation of on-chain resources.

ACC Membership Update
During Q4, there were changes in the Council composition:
The Council would like to sincerely thank both tksarah and Jay for their dedication, time, and meaningful contributions throughout their time in the Astar Community Council.
Their involvement, commitment, and willingness to support the ecosystem during a critical phase of experimentation and evolution have been truly valuable. We deeply appreciate the energy and responsibility they brought into Council discussions and decision-making, helping to shape processes that will continue to benefit Astar moving forward.
In line with the Astar Foundation Forward vision, the ACC will continue its operations with 4 members, instead of the originally established 6. This adjusted structure reflects a more agile and efficient governance approach while maintaining continuity and accountability.
The current official ACC members are:
Looking Ahead to 2026
Continue reviewing and updating obsolete documentation
The ACC will continue its work on reviewing, consolidating, and updating public and internal documentation that has become outdated over time. The goal is to ensure that all governance-related resources accurately reflect current processes, roles, and workflows, making them easier to understand, maintain, and reference for both contributors and the broader community.
Further optimize internal ACC workflows
Building on the improvements introduced throughout 2025, the Council will further optimize its internal workflows to improve efficiency, coordination, and responsiveness. This includes refining review processes, deadline management, and cross-check mechanisms, allowing the ACC to operate in a more structured, predictable, and scalable manner as the ecosystem continues to grow.
Begin structuring a comprehensive dApp Staking restructuring plan
The ACC will start working on a broader restructuring plan for dApp Staking, exploring new solutions and optimizations aimed at improving sustainability, quality standards, and long-term ecosystem impact. This phase will focus on evaluating existing mechanisms, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing evolutions that better align incentives for developers, users, and the Astar network as a whole.
Continue building the Astar Ambassador Fellowship structure
The Council will continue developing the Astar Ambassador Fellowship (AAF) framework, with the objective of gradually transitioning to this new mechanism for Ambassador management. This includes refining roles, tasks, evaluation criteria, and reward structures to ensure a fair, transparent, and on-chain–oriented system that recognizes meaningful contributions and supports long-term community growth.
Closing Note
As we conclude 2025, the Astar Community Council would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the ecosystem throughout the year — community members, Agents, developers, dApp teams, contributors, and all those who actively participated in governance discussions and initiatives.
Your continuous engagement, feedback, and commitment have been essential in shaping the evolution of Astar during a year of important transitions, experimentation, and structural improvements. The progress achieved would not have been possible without the collective effort of a community that genuinely cares about the long-term sustainability and success of the ecosystem.
As we look ahead, we wish everyone a great end to 2025 and a positive, successful start to 2026. The coming year represents a new chapter filled with opportunities to further strengthen governance, empower contributors, and continue building a more resilient and impactful Astar ecosystem together.
Thank you for being part of this journey — and let’s keep building, improving, and growing Astar, side by side.
